    Ventless Dryer Combo

I have a splendid 7100xc, the same model you are asking about. Yes it does take longer to dry, and yes it works best with smaller loads, but once you figure out the few quirks it works great. We full-time, so it does get used daily, sometimes multiple times a day. When it comes to washing...

    Moving to Detroit . . .

Not that bad! I guess its all relative to what you are used to. Me, you wouldn't catch me dead there. Any place I can't exercise my 2nd amendment right freely, is a no go for me. Tell your son thank you for his service. My prayers go out to you and your family.

    Trailer brakes disconnected

+1 on electrical issue. Could be anywhere from a bad ground on the trailer to short in the wiring. My experience with issues such as this is a major pain in the butt. I usually end up replacing complete wiring harness. In your case this might be a bit expensive.

    Hydrolic landing gear issue?

I too like many others have this problem. My question is which 80 amp breaker are they replacing it with. I have searched all over, but can not find the same like kind breaker in a 80 amp. I can find 50 amps all day long that look identical, but all the 80 amps i keep finding look much different.

    Big Country MSRP

A good rule of thumb is 30-34% off. Most people i know that walk away with a smoking deal is the 33-34% off range. This may vary on line up and year model. What i have seen is some dealerships creating their own MSRP and then working down from that. Be careful with these dealers as there are...

    Air Lift Install Option

I too didn't think of that. What a simple way to install. My setup looks very similar to the pic. I do have the wireless compressor also. Works pretty well, although my first compressor went bad after 3 months. Airlift stood behind their product and overnighted me another one. So far so...

Landmark Condition After 3 Years of Full Timing

Glad to hear how well they are holding up. We are 6 months into full timing in our 2016 4200 Cyclone. I honestly have not noticed any wear related to full timing. I hope to have as good as results as you guys.

Wheel Chocks - The Real Deal

Don't know why exactly but I've always been a X chock guy. I feel that is not only chocks the wheels but when snugged up takes a bit of bounce out of the RV. Even with the 6 point auto level I still use them.

    Fuel tank

+1 RDS 60 gallon Aux Transfer Tank. Now I roll with 96 gallons. Sure is nice not having to worry about fuel.

    Diesel exhaust fluid

Here in Tx i have never heard of anyone getting pulled over for emissions or once pulled over even questioned about emissions. I'm sure there is an exception to every rule, but for every person I know with a current model diesel truck (and I know a bunch) over 50% of them are deleted. It's...

Will All Road Warriors Please Stand Up! Represent Your Warrior!

I just recently had a new roof installed back in July due to low tree limb in roadway. The extra material he is talking about is lauan plywood. They do this because when the old roof in removed it can cause splintering of the old plywood its connected to. The new lauan sheets are placed over...

    Thumbs up Heartland!

Same staining on ours. However every 3 months I hire a local detail company and it all comes off. Not sure what they use, but next time I will ask them. I also have them apply the Roof UV protector every 3 months.

    Who uses a V-6 to tow? I use a 4.0L to tow an M22

I would love to get 9 mpg. I get more like 6-7.5 mpg. Even with that low of mpg still no complaints.

    Trip overnight stops

+1 on the truck stops. We will be staying at a Flying J this evening on our way to LA. We have also stayed at some of the big retail parking lots. We have never been run out or asked to leave.
