    Outer Banks

    We stayed there for 4 days in 2010 and really liked the park. At that time the folks running the park were very friendly and helpful, giving us info about restaurants and sites in the area. Good location too as you can see most of the outer banks on day trips from the park.

    No restrictions on heading up to FT. Wilkins. Been that way recently with a 45' MH and years ago with an 18 Wheeler. Beautiful scenery up there. Jim

    We've stayed at Hickory Hollow a few times. Nice park with large pull-though sites. Nice folks in office.

    RV park Chicago Area

    There are a couple parks near Joliet, IL which is on I-55, South of Chicago. One is a Casino and the other is a membership park, (Leisure Lakes I believe), but you can stay at either one. Getting on I-55 will take you right up into the city.
