Entry Steps Going From 3 to 4 Steps

Don: We have not actually did a conversion but we went from 3 - 4 steps when we went from our Elkridge to the Landmark. I have bad knees and a bad hip as well. That change did more for me getting in and out of the coach than anything I can imagine. Reduced my pain by at least 80 %. John

Discussion: Some general insulation and temperature observations

You know, I guess I make things too simplistic. I'm sitting very nicely cooled in our 2012 MESA in this heat and direct sun with no shade. In this kind of extreme heat we turn on both air units, open the major vent on the unit in the living room, turn the fans on manual and turn on the...

I got reminded of a lesson I learned along time ago.

Check Valve At Hot Water Heater Outlet? I would like HL Braintrust opinions please.

We had the same check valve on the water heater in the Landmark. It was plastic, it has already failed and leaked. It was replaced with Brass and a galvanized nipple. Definitely a better arrangement!!!!

    New Orleans Campgrounds

The French Quarter spot is in an industrial area. Some folks like it there. It isn't one of our favorites. As far as a nice place, reasonable location and safety, try the KOA at Kenner. We go back there from time to time. All the advantages of being in the Metro area and no disadvantages.

    Bighorn Silverado

If you are comparing units within a like price range, my experience has been that Heartland will be superior quality. I KNOW that Heartland will put the others to shame in customer service. So, in that regard, the Silverado is nothing but a WIN WIN for you! Good Luck!!
