Is it necessary to lubricate the slide cables, and if so , how often, and with what ?

I also have a 2015 22FBS and it looks exactly like yours ! Mine was also very badly oxidized after only 20 months. On our very first trip the entire front portion of the roof membrane was filling with air as though it was not glued down. I was able to put a temporary patch on it still filled...

Thanks for all the imput. The problem appears to have been a "short stop" circuit breaker on the bus bar that didn't reset. Thats where I was getting the bad reading (ie. resistance)from. I purchased 2015 NT22FBS and everything worked fine. I had a slide topper installed and now the battery goes dead and my ohm meter is indicating a short circuit. Is it possible that one of the mounting screws hit a wire ? What is the wire route in the slide?

Is there a way to lock it while travelling ?

Just picked up our 2015 NT 22FBS and want to add the slide topper. One dealer says I need a 96" ant he other says I need a 102". What brand and size did you get, and are you happy with it ?

I read in one of the industry news letters that Heartland introduced several new floorplans at the Louisville show in November. Anybody seen anything about this? We're planning on buying a NT 22FBS unless some new plans come out.

We are considering the 2750 rl mainly because it has one of the lowest hitch weights and dry weight. We also love the layout. What is your tow vehicle? We have a 2012 Chevy Silverado 4x4 with tow pkg. any imput would be appreciated.
