    New Tow Vehicle advice requested

I have a 2009 2500HD Chevy Silverado, 6.6TD, Allison transmission, and crew cab. It tows our BH3055RL like its not even there, but we are upgrading to a BH3890SS. From what I can see, the new RV is still within the towing specs for my truck, but I could just be reading it all wrong. Anyone else...

    Any BH3890SS owners out there?

The wife and I are looking to upgrade from a BH3055RL to a BH3890SS. She loves the huge bedroom space the SS provides. My concern is with the length of that slide. We will be full timing it at our resort, so I've been wondering if I should plan on making a support structure under it using 4x4s...

Prospective owner 2008 Big Horn 3055RL

We've been full timing it in our 08 3055rl. We live in eastern Washington state, own a resort out here. I can tell you that we love our BH. The only real issue we had was when the weather dropped to negative 20, our kitchen sink would freeze no matter what we did. The issue was that the water...

    New 3890SS Floorplan

True, although going from a BH3055RL, we are used to that. The bedroom space can't be beat. You could sleep on the floor at the end of the bed. Nice big window there as well. My wife plans on putting her rocking chair there, and bassinet when we get pregnant.

    New 3890SS Floorplan

We feel the same. Just applied for financing on our BH3890SS! Fingers crossed, we are looking forward to moving out of our 2008 BH3055RL! We are full timers, living at our resort in medical lake Washington. The super slide gives so much room in the bedroom that it's amazing.

    A big leap of faith

UPDATE, we've been living in our 3055RL now for months. I have to say, it has been a mostly good experience. Becoming the second owner of an older used RV has its challenges. all of the main seals needed replaced. all in all, the rugged construction of the bighorn has lent itself well to age...

    A big leap of faith

So, we've had the 08 bighorn for almost a week. The king size bed is the biggest let down, ouch! The inflatable sofa bed is much more comfortable. I busted the elbow on the outside shower on the first day, thought the hose would be longer than what it was. Other than that, we are impressed with...

    A big leap of faith

We closed the deal at 22k today. After doing some more research, I think it is a fair deal. We are excited to join the club! If anyone is in eastern Washington and needs a place to stop, please keep us and our resort in mind. We are just 15 minutes off of I-90, paved all the way. Until I can...

    A big leap of faith

OOkay, did most of what you all suggested today. Previous owner was from Arizona, and was taken as a trade up to another heartland rv. The dealer is towing it to the resort free of charge, and I've a friend with a 3\4 ton with hitch to move me if and when needed. The dealer was asking 35k. It...

    A big leap of faith

My wife and I just purchased West Medical Lake Resort. We knew that we would eventually have to live there full time. We did our research, and found an '08 Bighorn 3055RL at a good price. I grew up with rvs, not her. The floor plan of the 3055 sold her on the idea of living full time in an rv...
