Thanks Jim and Bette but this vent is way up on the outside top of the Kitchen slide. It also has a covered overhang that you can't get your fingers under even with a ladder. So unless there's something inside on the hood to open and close it, I guess it is automatic.

There is a toggle switch located in the entry closet (right of entry door). It is located at the bottom of the cabinet left of the fuse box. I have a 3450TS BC. Hope that helps.

Besides the remote switch, I found the outside step light switch inside the front door closet (on the Right) inside the cabinet on the very bottom, just left of the fuse box. I was told that it was placed here to allow you to reach in while you were outside of the trailer. Hope this was helpful.
