Not quite sure what thread to post this question. We have an issue in the right rear corner of our Heartland Big Country fifth wheel where it is breaking loose away from the molding. Has anyone else had to repair something like this? Can it just be pushed back together with screws or must we...
For the first time ever, we have had a string break on the day/night shade on our Big Country 5th wheel.
Does the valance need to be totally removed to take the blind off to be the-strung or is it possible to remove the blind without removing the side and top valance panels? They look a little...
We are having problems getting our Big Country 5th wheel to raise high enough. The electrical motor seems to not have enough power or is drawing too much power. I have greased the jacks. We have 4 six volt fully charged batteries. Each time we unhook from the trailer, we have to help the...
Our trailer is slow to fill and backs water up the fill tube, I think because of poor venting . the fill tube seems to have a belly in it, but if you blow in the fill tube the water will go in he tank like the vent is of. we'll only get he tank 3/4 full and no more water will go in the fill...
It appears to drip both while we are filling the tank and especially afterwards. some times we get water hours or days after we fill. It appears that there is no air coming out the vent when filling.
I also think the fill tube has belly in it because it is hard to fill and never gets full.
We have water leaking underneath our 5th wheel Big Country after we have filled with fresh water. Could it be that the vent tube has come off? Or does anyone have any other ideas or has had this happen?
Jim.....do you think you could give us the name of someone at Heartland that would be the best person to tell us exactly how to gain access to the valve you mentioned since it is NOT in the shower access hole?
Thanks!
Thanks for your help. However, we did remove that panel and can see the water dripping (lots!) down but you can not see or get access to where it is coming from. It sounds like we can only gain access to that valve in the wall behind our toilet. I guess they changed it in later models to be...
Jim....ours is a 09 model but when we took checked out the access hole in the shower, there was only a blue and red line. I think they must have changed it on units made later than our 09. So we are back to "square one" having to cut a hole behind the toilet to access it, I'm afraid.
Thanks...
Yuk...yes, we have seen such a mess as this while the partition was off and we were trying to see where the water was leaking down from. But the problem is that the VALVE in question here can neither been seen or accessed from there. Sounds like we can only get to it to fix it or replace it...
