    Domestic Ac problem

We are running it on both high and low settings. I can live with the twitchy thermostat but we literally can't shut the unit off without th breaker. The fan shuts off but the compressor still runs. I climbed up on the roof and pulled the cover off and had the wife turn it on. The unit is...

    Domestic Ac problem

Ok we have a 2011 Heartland with a Dometic rooftop ac unit and its acting up. 1st off if you turn the unit on and move the slide on the a/c panel more than once to a desired temp it blows the circuit breaker. What I mean is if I turn it on the move it to 72 degrees and then to 74 degrees it will...

    New 8000lb axle upgrade

Ok, so after some inner tire edge wear I have been living with for the last 2 months we finally pulled into Elkhart to get the trailer looked at. A tech from the place we bought it from originally came out and took one look and sent me right over to Lippert. I met with Jerry at Lippert and...

    Found the wheel bearings loose!

Well our 5th wheel has about 6000 miles on it now that we have taken a year off from work to travel the USA with our two kids. We bought the trailer in my signature May 2010 and parked it for exactly 1 year prior to our trip. We left May 1 2011 and have traveled from Atlanta, Georgia to as far...

Tires Wearing on the inner edges!

Ok I have about 4000 miles on my 2011 3500rl and the inner edges of my tires are wearing badly! I have read stories of Lippert springs going flat and all kinds of things! I'm a little irritated that afterjust under 50k dollars I need to possibly replace springs and tires! Did they resolve...

Driving the Mtns of Yellowstone area

Somebody mentioned Canada having some 10% grades or better, I just came through New Brunswick around the Fundy national park area and found myself going up some rather steep grades with very little room to accelerate and then was rewarded with a nice 10% grade down hill with all kinds of curves...

    Lippert springs strike again

Picked up our 3500rl Last May and im now wondering how long the springs will last. We left on a trip around the USA May of this year with our kids for a year and i dont want to have to worry about this. Ohwell to late for that I guess. Did they make any production changes? I slid under the...

    Dirty Question

Rhinoflex here! A friend of our gave us a clear attachment for the outlet. I first thought why do I want to look at it? It is great for checking to see if you need to flush the black tank. My words of wisdom? Dump the black tank first then the greys to wash out the hose!

Anyone using the Northern Hydraulics Auxiliary Fuel Tank and RDS install kit?

I just purchased the 80 gallon version. I have mounted the tank and will soon do the filler neck install. Like caissiel said they are DOT approved for Diesel fuel. PUG - Could I get a picture of the fuel level setup with the clear hose?

Traveling the USA with our new BC 3500rl and our kids!

A lot of people think we are crazy for doing this with our 2 kids but we have lived 8 hours from any of our family members for the past 16 years, which has helped us grow into a very close knit family. Will we get on each others nerves? for sure! Will we give our children a gift that will...

Traveling the USA with our new BC 3500rl and our kids!

This is my first post since finding this website. We picked up our new 2010 3500rl from Elkhart Indiana in May of 2010 and camped our way home. My wife and I are starting our 1 year tour of the USA with our kids 6 & 9 and our Briard dog begining may 1st 2011. We will pulling the 5th wheel with...
