We have the same BH and had the same issue when we first brought ours home. We decided not to mount a TP holder and just put the TP inside the linen cabinet (the top shelf of the lower cabinet) . It's easy to reach and hasn't been a problem yet.
We have been having the same problem with the sink in our Bighorn ever since it was new last year. We tried making the adjustment under the sink but the stopper still didn't raise high enough for the sink to drain quickly. On our first trip this Spring it drained even slower than it did before...
We took off the plastic vent cover closest to the door in the bedroom and shined a light while holding a mirror up in it, then we could see that about 1 1/2 feet back was the place where it was blocked. We then took the longest knife we could find in the camper(a longer one would have been...
There was just one place where it was blocked with styrofoam so we used a knife and cut an opening in it. If we find we don't like it this way we can block it off again easily.
I guess ours is the only one not ducted. We talked to heartland again and they said we could try opening up the duct where it was sealed off, so we did. Now air moves back to the bedroom and from the bedroom to the living room.
Seems kind of strange that some are ducted and some aren't..or maybe ours is the only one that isn't :) The bedroom air is the high profile, same as the living room. We'll be talking to Heartland again on Monday, so should be finding something out.
They didn't really say how it would be opened up. Yes it must be a more recent change. Ours was built in March.
I don't know if its because of the way it's ducted, but it has been cooling really well. It's been 90 degrees and humid and the temp inside has stayed around 70 degrees all day. I...
Ok, so we called Heartland customer service. They said it is not ducted. They said it's more efficient this way but it could be opened up if we wanted.
Not sure what we're going to do now. I guess we'll wait and see if we like it this way.
We got air through the ducts in the bedroom from the living room ac in our previous 5th wheel too. It was enough to cool the bedroom at night. I assumed this one would be the same way especially since its a more expensive camper than the last one.
i guess we will have to ask someone at Heartland.
Thanks for all the replies. When we feel the ducts in the bedroom ceiling with the living room air running, we feel nothing at all coming out. We can feel it in the bathroom though. When we turn the living room air off and turn the bedroom air on, we feel air coming out of the ducts in the...
We just purchased a 2014 Bighorn 3570rs and are using it for the first time this week. It came with a bedroom ac that is ducted and has the thermostat on the wall. The problem we are having is that the living room ac doesn't seem to be ducted to the bedroom, and the bedroom ac isn't ducted to...
