With a Heartland product you do not need a slider hitch but it does not hurt to have it with a short bed pick up. Never know when you may have to pull a differnt trailer.
My wife and I are from Long Island, NY we ordered our 3100ES from Gilletts in East Lansing, Mi we got what we ordered in the time frame we were told. We love our Heartland product. Really sounds like you got hooked up with a bum dealer.
Hi Cliff
We have a 2011 3100ES and love it. We keep our camper in the Pocono Pa. we have one A/C and it is plenty. We have the double payne glass and would not be without it. We just winterized last week and it did go down in the 30,s with no problems. The air bed is good for a small couple or...
Our 3100ES has a cable jack outside compartment door under awning and I mounted a 17 inch flat screen on a swing arm in the compartment. It works out great.
We Picked up our 2011 3100ES in March and we LOVE IT so far knock on wood the only problem was caulking the shower stall. But we LOVE IT. We keep it at a RV park for the season use it every other weekend and everything has been great.
Dual pand windows are avil. we have them and love them. Slide toppers work great. Sundance comes with great owners manual. Plus any other questions this is a great site.
I have a 2003 Chevy 2500HD with extened cab short bed. Did not need the slider but put it in anyway could not hurt. If by chance I have to pull someone elses trailer I am all set. The slider was only $200.00 extra.
