    Scare light replacement update

Locating this bulb is proving to be a challenge. The auto parts stores that I checked have an H3 12V 55 & 100W bulbs. I have found H3 12V 35W bulbs on the internet. I'm in no hurry so I will continue my search for now. Replacing the whole light assembly may be the way to go. P.S. Thanks to JB...

    Scare light replacement update

A few weeks ago I posted the question asking how to replace a fright/scare light on my 05 Grand Canyon and got a few responses. Well, I finally got past the procrastination stage (I am retired and that resembled work) and climbed the ladder. I removed the two screws securing the light assembly...

    Scare lights

Thanks for the response Jim. I will pull the light out again and look but my recollection is that this light is sealed at the back and the only way to get to the bulb is by removing the lens or replacing the whole assembly. One of these lights burned out when I first bought this trailer in 06...

    Scare lights

I have an 05 Grand Canyon and one of my scare lights burned out. Has anyone replaced the bulb in one of these. My question is, does the lens pop out. I have attempted to pop it out with great care but stopped for fear of breaking the lens. I am considering replacing burned out light assembly...

    Replace or repair TV

Hello Ray, I was curious if anyone else has had the need to replace one of these units and if so what with. I gather that I need to look at the LCD rather than PLASMA. I have a $50 deductible extended warranty that will replace the TV with some restrictions, like size and cost ($350 range). I...

    Replace or repair TV

Do I replace original equipment, 24.?" Toshiba flat screen tube TV, or get it fixed. I am leaning toward replacement but am having trouble finding a suitable replacement within the cost limits of my extended warranty and still fit the hole. Any suggestions. This TV is for a 05 Grand Canyon...

    New Owner - Help

Jack, Open your DC fuse box and find the fuse labled furnace. On mine its the 2nd fuse from the top (20amp). If your A/C is on and you pull that fuse you will see the little green light on your A/C go out. Its like that so you can run your furnace with the remote. I have had times when my...

    New Owner - Help

Hello Jack, I have an 05 Grand Canyon and had a heck of a time learning to use the remote for the a/c-furnace. We first had to relocate the handheld so it had a DIRECT LINE OF SIGHT to the receiver. I found it necessary to push that little gray reset more than once, pull the dc fuse (the...

    Portable Generator advice

Lynne, let me suggest that you might want to pay a visit to the Onan shop located just east of Bossier at 4910 Industrial Dr Ext. I think they carry other brands of generators. Reading your bio I'm betting you know where this is. Phone # 747-0212 unless my book is out of date. I had a...
