Have ran several times and cannot get a chemical taste out of the ice. So bad it actually irritates the mouth and throat. Anyone have a solution?

We have a new Big Horn and the Dometic refrigerator was on gas for a couple of days while we visited our son, when we got back to it had to throw away everything in the freezer and in the refrig it was a mess, also costly. What is the problem?

:(We recently purchased a 3670 Big Horn and now finding out that only one burner on the stove has the ability to control the flame. The other two are on full blast or off. Is this common?
