    Why am I getting shocked?

Are you plugged into a three prong outlet at the house? Are you using a heavy duty extension with three prongs? If not your electrical is not grounded and will cause a shock when you ground the trailer off when you attach the emergency cable to the hitch.

    Day/night shades

Second shade in the last month broke today. One is being replaced tomorrow by dealer under warranty. My previous unit was an 09 Bighorn and I never had a problem with the shades. Speaking to a few other owners this seems to be a on going issue with all shades including SOB trailers. Is there a...

How big of a generator do I need?

Check out the Honda web site. You can plug in what you plan on running and it will tell you what appliances you can run. I would recommend (2) 2000 Honda generators if you plan on running a roof A/C or small heater. Good Luck, Ed

dually air pressure pulling a 5th wheel

I attended a seminar presented by a tire manufacturer and they recommended that you set tire pressure as listed on the sidewall of the tire. The ride will be harsher but tire wear and mileage should improve under normal circunstances.

    Flagstaff or Sedona

Stay at the campground at the Grand Canyon. Stayed several nights this past summer. It would be a good idea to make reservations now if you know the dates you will be arriving.

Major wheel and tire upgrade (need your opinions)

I changed the tires on my 09 Bighorn 3670 last spring to G614's and in August left on a 9100 mile trip through out the Southwest states. Most days were in the mid 90's. Checked tire pressure daily and had no problems. Ordered a new 3455 in January and optioned the Good Year G614's. If you...

    2011 Bighorn 3455 slide awning

I have a 3455 with an awning topper on the bedroom slide that the fabric is at least 4 inches short that does not cover the entire width of the slide. Anyone with this unit that would check there awning topper and report back it would be greatly appreciated. All others fit perfect. Thanks

    Axles, Tires and Brakes

I had a 3670 that I changed the tires to Good Year G 614's. The brakes were not an issue. I just took delivery of a 3455 RL and ordered the Good Year G 614 option. If your unit is not in production your dealer can call and have the tires changed to Good Year G 614's. The cost is around $450.00...

    Electric Awnings

John, Thanks for the reply. I often wondered what the procedure was to close the awning when the motor failed. I found no instructions in my paperwork when I purchased the trailer. I will pickup a strap soon. Thanks, Ed
