The yamaha 2400 does run the AC. The 2800 watts is my guess for start up. I fired up the microwave and it ran but was overloaded. I figure if I need to nuke something I can shut down the AC for a few min. The converter and charger were also running along with the AC. Scott

We had the dealer install a second battery on our M18. I will take a pic and post it. No welding was required. It's tight but they both fit. The M19 may be different. I was able to get into the battery box & add a set of heavy wires and install an inverter. Scott

My modifications We got our edge (M18) back in March. Haven't spent much time in it but enough to discover a few issues. First the galley drawers. The tubs tend to tip and can fall out. I fixed this problem by adding a "U" channel that the tubs fit in. I just hot glued them to the existing...

I just purchased an Edge 18. I am thinking about getting a generator large enough to run the A/C unit. I would like to know what size generator I should look to buy. Any ideas about brand, weight, and cost would be helpful. Thanx in advance for any help. Scott

Jim the boat in Colorado could be a problem so we keep her in Florida on the east coast "on the hard" out of the water when we are in Colorado. We are looking foward to getting the Edge and trying some land cruising. Scott..

We just purchased an Edge at the Denver RV show. We ordered the M18 with the full body paint option. Looking foward to doing some land cruising. Our other RV is a 42 ft sail boat. This will be different but the same.
