Hey everyone. My husband just replaced our main ac unit with a new Dometic Brisk AirII. It works great, the compressor kicks on an off, but the fan runs continuously. Is there something we did wrong?? He checked the thermostat, and says he put it in the same place as the old one was. Thanks...

Hi, just saw this, i havent been on in a while. We have a 2013 BC and about to replace the main unit, it went out last fall. I sure am hoping the new unit will be quieter than the old! They don't make the exact same unit anymore so i hope we order the right replacement!

- - - Updated - - - DH wanted me to add that when the technician put the amp meter across the black wire, while it was running, it showed that it was pulling 45 to 55 amps every few seconds. This was when it seemed to lul. Is this a bad compressor?

Thanks for all the replies. We had a mobile repair man come out here in Branson. Was hoping for the best but got the worst. We just need a need a new unit. But we decided to wsit till next year to replace. Our bedroom unit and fan kept us cool. For fall campi g we will be fine. DH said no use...

Ok, dh went on top and removed the ac cover. He said the motir was Hot. It did come on thoygh and would go off fir a second and then back on. Its looking like a new ac is in order. Sad thing is we are loading up for an 9 day trip!

Its hooked up to 30 amp at our house. The voltage meter inside is in the green. It was this morning also when it was working.

Worked fine this morning. Set it up to 78 till i could get back this afternoon. Came in, noticed it was warm inside, so put it down to 72. All it will do is hum. Fan doesnt even run. We have a '13 Big Country. Is it time for a new unit???

Congratulations! We took just got a new to us 2013 BC. We couldn't be happier with our find! It looks brand new. Can't wait to take it out for a long trip in September. Enjoy your new fiver!
