Back when I drove a flatbed tow truck, to load cars that were low (Corvettes, etc) we would put some 2x4's or 2x6's in front of the tires like rails, then put the bed down on top to hold them. Then when you drive the car up on the wood it raised the nose up enough to avoid contact with the bed.
