Hi there -
Thanks for the input folks. It's a 2017, built and bought in 2017. And yup - sorry it's a Mallard from Camping World. So I tore into it yesterday, I was able to get the awning off by removing the roller from each head (idler and power) and sliding the fabric out. Not spring loaded...
Hello everyone - Well my biggest fear of buying a fiberglass laminated coach has come true. I was having an issue with water getting in along the gutter to coach trim area. I covered it with dicor and ended up putting a tarp on it. I planned to remove and re-butyl the gutter edge and reseal...
It seems I have found the leak - so far so good. I smeared some dicor over the seam that is above the door and it stopped the leak. From what I can tell, these walls are fully laminated from fiberglass all the way through to the inner paneling. Glad I didn't try to pull the paneling out to see...
I really appreciate the input! I was initially thinking of just tearing out the door to see what's going on but it seems removing the interior wall would reveal more and be less work. I see where there is a seam, it's covered with color and pattern matching tape. Is that tape available readily...
Hello all!
I have a 2017 Mallard IDM 245 that has been a lot of fun! I am wondering about proper preventative maintenance for the slide out room. How does one get to the tracks to lube them and check they are clear? It has the accuslide system.
Thanks in advance!!

So my wife said she found a little bit of rusty water inside the TT, right inside the door. I noticed it was dripping down between the inner wall and the head pad above the door. Further inspection showed that water was dripping between the far wall plywood and the door frame. I would...
I think my anti siphon valve and plumbing is inside my bathroom, under the sink. Pretty easy access. I'll try to look soon.
As for adding a check valve myself - I'm sure it's covered online - is it with off the shelf plumbing parts?
Thanks!
Scott
Thank you both for the input! I will take a look in the underbelly to see what is going on in there.
As for the pressure reg - I have tried all sorts of pressure from mild to what I consider pretty high and all it does is change the pitch of the sound that comes out from the flush area, but...
Hi there -
I bought a Mallard IDM245 and have had great luck with it overall. I have tried to use the black tank flush a few times and each time, it doesn't do anything. It has make a quiet squeaking sound but not what I would expect with a black tank flush. It doesn't seem to have any flow -...
Hello all!
I have been doing a lot of searches and haven't found too much info on this. My Mallard is a 2017, it's been great so far but on my last road trip with the family the slide started making a noise when it is sliding in, but not out. The tension on the cables and chains...
Hi there! I just installed the Jensen jwm60a - I am going to have to make it work for me. It's a nice looking unit, sounds great so far and the bluetooth works! It was substantially larger than the existing unit but I was easily able to adapt it to fit. I'll update if there is anything...
Thanks BigBovine!
I have searched and searched - seems the options are few. I see that Jensen one, and it doesn't have HDMI. There is another Furrion that has HDMI but I don't trust the brand at all. I want to be able to hear the TV through the speakers without using an awful 'aux in'...
My Furrion DVD player is awful. The Bluetooth doesn't work, DVD's have banding, etc.
It looks to be double DINN size, I was wondering what others are having luck with. I'd like something with a HDMI output and will fit in the same slot.
Thanks in advance!
Scott
