I'm pulling a 285BH (gvw: 11,580 dry: 7,120 Pin: 1,420) With my tundra 5.7 and it pulls great, even in a good wind. I avg. around 10mpg.

In My trailer anyway there is also the gap at the top of the door to the bathroom. The bathroom is near the shower and the only space with a power vent. I am assuming that the gap is to allow the fan to evacuate the moisture from the shower with out needing the door open.

Thanks for the great advice I will give it some good practice. I might try a church parking lot. Can't heart to the the big guys help.

Just bought our first 5th wheel. 2009 sundance 285BH. Can't wait to get it in a week. Out with the pop-up Hello 5th wheel. Just hope its easy to back up looks intimidating.
