Born at the Naval Hospital in Chelsea, Massachusetts and raised in Marshall Illinois. Marine Corps Veteran serving from 1972 to 1976 (Parris Island; Camp Lejueane; Quantico, and Kanehoe Bay). Upon discharge from USMC began a career with the Federal Bureau of Prisons which spanned 30 years of service with assignments to various federal correctional institutions (United States Penitentiary Terre Haute, IN; Federal Medical Center Butner, NC; United States Penitentiary Marion, IL; Federal Law Enforcement Training Center Glynco, GA; Federal Correctional Institution Texarkana, TX; Federal Bureau of Prisons Headquarters Washington, DC, and Federal Bureau of Prisons Regional Office Philadelphia, PA). Retired as a Federal Law Enforcement Officer in 2003. My wife, Wendy, continues her career with the Federal Bureau of Prisons and since my retirement her career has taken us to Pekin, IL; Terre Haute, IN and currently Duluth, MN.
