My wife and I just bought our second RV. Our "starter" travel trailer was a 2014 Forest River Cherokee Gray Wolf Model 26RL. It was a good starter trailer for us. We think we have really stepped up with the 2016 Heartland North Trails Caliber. It has the layout we wanted, three slides and the comfort items we had wanted in a new trailer.
We like fifth wheels but we prefer to take this travel trailer and load our on of our motorcycles, a 2009 Honda VTX Touring or 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad, on the back of the truck and enjoy riding in the areas we visit.
We take our 2 dogs on our getaways and have a blast camping, hiking, riding, etc.
