I have never heard of them. My last 5th wheel had Good Year Marathons. As soon as I bought my new 3160EL and discovered info on the Tow Max tires, I found a dealer who sold me four G614's mounted and balanced with steel valve stems, for $1,042, which included taxes and fees. I am happy with that!

The sidewalls are not stamped with "Directional" an Arrow or "This side in" or "This side out". It looks like they can be mounted in any direction... But, I am going to make sure the ends of the cross grooves point backwards, just for the heck of it.

I found a great article on this subject. It looks as if there isn't any way the tire is directional, at least according to this article. But according the the water flow diagram, I'll still make sure the ends of the cross grooves point backwards...

I didn't think so either, but I do see that the tread patterns will face opposite directions if you just randomly install them. That is a bit odd, especially after the installation tech made the comments to me. He was careful to explain to me that he loaded them in the bed of my truck...
