Good for Coco! A former neighbor gave us a puppy after her daughter closed a heavy sliding door on the puppy's leg. (The neighbor didn't want to pay a vet bill and actually asked us to return the puppy after we and the vet nursed her back to health.) That puppy became a wonderful member of our...
We cook all the time on our BH, but we've not had that problem. Steam popped into my mind as the culprit since I've used that to remove wallpaper before. If that's not a possibility, I'd call HL and ask them about possible causes and solutions.

We love our stackable. Like others have said, you can be washing a second load while the first is drying. We try to never have more than two loads to do at a time - rather be out exploring and meeting new people than doing chores. While the clothing is getting clean and dry, we can do odds and...
Have you contacted Heartland yourself? We had warranty work needed also after we took delivery in October 2012. Our BH was at the dealer for several weeks (mid February if memory serves me correctly) until we decided to make a call to Heartland. Work got underway quickly after our...
Never easy. We know that our furry kids (Sassy, Pepper, Cookie, Mushi, Tiger, and Mona) are seeing that Cassie receives a warm welcome. Prayers with you.
Or maybe there's not enough left of the tire or that the failed tire has been discarded. Dunno about everyone else, but we didn't keep the tires & didn't know until several months later what was required to file a report.

We bought 5 Goodyears G614 at Thanksgiving. Have gone around 3k since then. No problems & anxiety level way down.

There is a difference between emotional responses & reports of fact. We reported what happened to us as have others. Your choice to keep China bombs on or to change them out.

We've used ours at least once a week when changing locations for a year now. No problems ever. Just don't get what's going on with yours.

I've followed the thought processes about the RV owners who are to blame for tire failures. While this may be true in cases, to use this as a continuing rationale for TowMax tire blow-outs & failures insults the intelligence of careful, thoughtful owners.
We were aware of the reputation of...

Our question also. Our elder son's wedding is the same week as the rally.

The moderators are owners like we are. If you will read posts, you will see that they have also had issues with these tires. So have we. No one is "sticking up" for the company - they're, like most of the postings here, are reporting what happened & advising owners to upgrade their tires before...
Won't travel without our TPMS activated. The 2 tires that blew out gave us no warning until there was little tire left.

To us a blow-out is when the tire explodes with force, sounding like a shotgun blast & causing damage to the trailer. Yep, been there, heard that x2.

Have to disagree slightly. TPMS warned us on tire #3 of elevated pressure (although it had been within total norms until the alarm) & gave us time to get roadside before the death of the tire. Another time, it warned us of pressure rise when we'd adjusted pressure before heading out that morning...
2nd the drain pan. Dealer asked why we thought we needed it - told them we weren't into standing water on the floor.

So true, Valerie. I belonged to a crochet group called "The Happy Hookers". Even then we were asked what we were knitting.
We won't be there this year either since our elder son's wedding is during that time. I have been knitting & crocheting since May, but have found churches & organizations...
Never did that on our boats or RVs. Once we drain out the antifreeze, we run water through until clear. To each his own.

My question too. We only flush with chlorine maybe in the summer if the fresh water tank gets skanky smelling. That's what we did on our boats also.

Hi. As suggested before, do a video of the PDI if possible. We've referred back to it several times when we used the "once in a while" items. Really came in handy.
Enjoy your Cyclone.

We were all newbies once! Don't be afraid to ask questions. The fridge will run on LP, so that keeps the food cold. As for the rest of the questions, I yield to others as we don't boondock.

We had some warranty work to be done a month or so after we got our BH. The service guy said 2 weeks - no prob. At the end of the 1st week, we called the dealer to insure we were on schedule, & were told that it would be another 2 weeks as HL had not sent the parts. Told the dealer we'd expedite...
Good for you! Too many reported issues reported come from "dealer amnesia" - a condition that occurs a maximum of two minutes after delivery of an RV needing repair.

Have you called Heartland about the issues you have as suggested by many members of this OWNERS forum? This forum was created, in my understanding, for persons owning products from this manufacturer & sharing a common recreational interest to have a place to share experiences (good & bad) with...
We are also longtime members. As long as we are not breaking laws, no problems with LE (BTW, many relatives in LE). As for the bad guys, you truly don't want to mess with either of us.

I worked for over 20 years with auto dealerships representing all manufacturers. I really do believe I know what I'm talking about with automobiles & the quality of construction.
However, let me try to state this again. It was being stated that things should be made without fault in...
Perhaps, but the point I was making was that cost of product does not equate to quality of product.

Not a matter of accepting substandard items - autos or RVs or hairdryers. Simply a matter of choosing not to stress over the small stuff. In the whole scheme of life, when things can be fixed, it's really not worth getting upset over.
Oh, even Bentleys & Rolls have warranty work done on them...
If you move your unit over most roads in the US, you will then understand that the term "earthquake" is not an excuse but reality. We found NO loose connections during our PDI as our dealer did a thorough inspection during their prep. We gave the dealer 7 days to inspect & make any corrections...
We plan to treat MD as a pass-thru quickly state now. We certainly will not stay there overnight - & we lived in the state for 15+ years.

Glad you were helped. Others have also been. Tredit did nothing for us since we had so little of the 1st tire left. As for the others, didn't waste our time or energy - just replaced on the fly. Now as of Thanksgiving, we have proper tires all around. We actually replaced the 4 on the ground...
