    jimtoo, Thank you for the quick reply. When I upgrade my hitch I plan on buying a slider again due to having a short bed truck is there a certain type that you would recommend?

    I just bought a 2015 Heartland Torque TQ 380. The dry weight of the trailer is 13,800 lbs but the GVWR is 18,000. I currently have a 16K hitch installed in my truck. I plan to upgrade it to a 20K at some point. Do you think I would be able to pull the trailer home from the dealer unloaded...
