EVENT: North American Heartland Rally: IN, Goshen - 6/15/2011 to 6/19/2011

Re: EVENT: Heartland International Rally: IN, Goshen - 6/15/2011 to 6/19/2011 According to the directory, we are at IF521. Are the infield (IF) sites full hook-up? And is IF521 50amp? I can't quite make it out on the black & white map posted in this thread.

    Sewer odor under sink!

Thanks for the suggestions! I read one of the "suggested" threads at the bottom of the page and it had mentioned the one-way vent under the sink. May try another one to see if it helps. Would think they could have routed behind a drawer to the bathroom wall and get access to the roof to vent...

    Sewer odor under sink!

We are noticing some "sewer" odor under the penninsula sink in our 3610RE. We are wondering if this is normal? or could there be a problem with the vent check valve on the drain line. Has anyone else encountered this?

Tank flush just for "Black" tank?

Thanks Dave, That's what I thought (we had a flush system on a previous SOB), but when it said keep "valves" open, I just wanted to make sure. I too will close the valve while flushing (for a short time) to help flush loose any residue! Will try to be sure not to get distracted! Thanks, John

Tank flush just for "Black" tank?

We own a 3610RE built in 11/10. It seems to me the instructions say waste tank "valves" must be open when flushing. Does the flushing system only clean the black tank? or all three?

    Hydraulic bleed-over?

Thanks for the replies! Just returned from our weekend outing and they worked fine! No other concerns on this initial campout other than needing to tighten-up the strings on a few of the day/night shades so they would stay in position. At this stage of our HEARTLAND experience, they make a...

    Buying from wholesale dealer

I got as much trade-in from my "wholesale" dealer as I was offered from a few local dealers! Didn't have to drive to IN or MI either! Just returned from our maiden voyage (weekend campout at a nearby state park), and very few problems! Really just aggravating window shades. Just needed to...

    Hydraulic bleed-over?

Gettin ready for our first outing! After pulling in the slides, raising the electric rear stabilizers, Then extended the front hydraulic landing gear to hook-up the TV. After securing the hitch, retracted the gear, raised and latched the pads. Then as I turned around, noticed the bedroom and...

We have one built in late November 2010 that has the window above the stove/counter area. I see you say 2012 3610RE? I didn't know the 2012 are in production!

Re: EVENT: Heartland International Rally: IN, Goshen - 6/15/2011 to 6/19/2011 Jim, Per our phone conversation from a few days ago, you had said I was the first on the waiting list! I have NOT received an e-mail about the open spot as of 7 a.m. Christmas day! I have checked my spam/junk mail...

    Model Year starts when?

We just purchased our 2011 BH. It came off the production line Nov. 18, 2010. Our dealer said he didn't think the 2012's would start delivery 'til March or April 2011 Time will tell! With autos not available 'til late in the previous year to production, you would think RV's would follow a...

    Factory Hitch on 3670

I've had some experiene with both. Had the Fifth Airborne on our Coachmen Somerset (38'). Attempted to transfer to our new BH 3610RE, but it didn't fit the pinbox. Our dealer installed a TrailAir (not sure what model). I like the way it works as compared with the Fifth Airborne. The air cushion...

    Please confirm change in 3610RE

My wife & I just picked up our 3610RE on Nov 22nd. I guess it is the "old" floor plan. Extra space at the foot of the bed is a great idea, but, a wider bedroom slide would allow extra room around the sides of the bed while putting sheets and spread on! We have the "king" bed, and it is VERY...

    External Propane connection?

We also have a Big Horn on order! I asked the dealer about a quick-connect propane tap and he said he could add one at a nominal charge! So I would guess that they are not "standard" equipment. Good luck with your new rig! We are certainly looking forward to picking up ours! Will have to...

    Receiver hitch for 3610re

Have a 3610re ordered! Can hardly wait! I'm tired of lifting bikes in and out of our truck and would like to put a receiver hitch on the back of the new Big Horn to carry bikes, possibly a generator on occasion. Anyone have experience with this? Brands, costs, etc...
