    Too much wind?

I have been watching the weather rather closely, when I moved from the L.A. California area to a park south of San Francisco and now that I plan on going back to L.A. and then over the mountains on 15. My primary concern is the wind, it has been terrible. I have noticed that with a motor...

    Modification to back burners???

Has anybody found a way to make the two back burners on the kitchen range, variable. My stove, and I think most RV stoves, have back burners with only two positions, full on or off. The front single burner is the only one that is variable. It should be easy to do, however, I would want it to...

3 out of 5 bad tires??

Under warranty!! I thought my Karrier tires only had a one year warranty. I was wrong, it is two years. They are sending me a check. It's great to see that Heartland negotiated a good warranty for these tires, but, I wish they had got better tires to begin with.

Tire upgrade option opinion poll – What would you pay?

Now or when I bought my trailer?? When I purchased my BigHorn, I was trusting the manufacter with a lot of money, to deliver a quality product. Now that I have had 3 tires out of 5 with bubbles, my trust has been shaken. On the day I purchased the Bighorn, I probably would not have considered...

    Add TV to bedroom??

Mounting the TV I have a Toshiba and I was able to rotate the base and bolt it down. This leaves only about an inch overhand on the base. I then added some velcro strips at the top to eliminate the TV banging against the edge. I now don't need to do anything to the TV when it is time to go.

    Add TV to bedroom??

 I currently have Direct TV satellite with the receiver box and a 32 inch flat screen in the livingroom. My current TV does not have a tuner, as this is taken care of by the Direct TV box. My wife wants a TV in the bedroom. What is the best way to do this? We would never need to...

3 out of 5 bad tires??

Some things to think about; If you don't use it, when the bubbles show your warranty may have expired. If you get a blowout, your insurance will pay for damages minus the deductible. If you change them now, it is all out of your pocket, but, the piece of mind is probably worth it. Here is a...

3 out of 5 bad tires??

Bubbles in tires The bubbles are on the sidewall near the tread. They are large enough to hold a golf ball inside and are easily seen. I suggest you look on the inside of your tires. Do some research before you consider the LTs instead of the STs. The LTs are truck tires and what I have...

3 out of 5 bad tires??

 I have had Karrier tires on my Big Horn, from the factory for about 2 years now. Well past warranty. I have put about 4000 miles on them and I run the full 90 pounds of air, keeping my speed below 65 as required by the information on the sidewalls and generally keeping an eye on them...

    Safes

Got it at Wal Mart I bought ours at Wal Mart and installed it in the closet where the washer dryer would be installed. It's not fire proof and would only slow down a determined thief, but, I put it in primarly for the friendly folk that may be in the trailer.

    A/C duct work!!

I am having air flow problems with the air conditioning in my 3400RL, which I understand is not unusual. I noticed that I have more airflow coming from the outlet at the end in the bedroom then what comes out closer to the a/c unit. This probably shouldn't be unless the duct work is kind of...

    Duramax '03 owners-advice Please

Watch out for Ford I have a 2002 Ford F350 which is getting a new transmission. The cooler on this truck was the same as what they put on a F150. All of the weight data for this truck shows that I have the ability to pull my 7 ton trailer, but, I didn't. I will now, after my $3000 bill.

    Camping World Presidents Club Offer

1000 Trails I think if you buy it through one of the resale places, you can expect to pay about $1000 for the membership plus $1500 transfer fee and about $600 a year in annual fees. Should you decide to do this, be careful to get only the "National membership". They sell the regionals which...

1000 Trails :D I am sure the price you were quoted was where the salesman started. The price for 1000 Trails membership is negotiable, just like buying a used car. I think you can get your best deal buying someones used membership, really cheap. You will still have the annual fees and about...
