the answer to your question about RT2 in vermont is, yes the road is fine for towing a 5ver on. There is a problem though with obtaining diesel fuel. There are not very stations that supply diesel fuel along the route in vermont or maine carry a little extra for that trip.:)

Both leaks I have experienced have been in the same area. In the radius about 3 inches out from the bolt pattern on the outside of the wheel.
