bggrndodge,
If you take the "cold air return vent" off you will see that hot air is ducted down from the heater into the central duct work and than two ducts off the end of the heater. One is about 4in and the other which goes to the garage is about 2 1/2in line.
How tight of a turn can you...
I have good airflow but all the heat is lost. I will have to try an insulate the heat duct. Looks like I will have to look at a catalytic heat source as I often dry camp.
bgrendodge
Did you look at the heating duct work under the fridge? (take the two big bottom draws out and you will see) I would have to take a picture but it is coiled around and I think I can cut about 20inches off. That should help and than try to insulate it bettter.
On a side not what...
Another question about the sofa bed in the garage. When the sofa is all the way down and you want to convert it to a bed the support legs are to long? Am I supposed to raise the bed high enough so the support legs make the bed level?
Thanks
I fired up the heat and the AC fan started running? Is that normal? My last camper it didn't do that. The other problem it that no heat was coming from the garage heat vent, it was blowing but I could not feel any heat.
I also notice that on the curbside propane compartment that their are...
Sitting here with my S&W M&P40c on my side. Just bought a M&P45 to go with my 40c and 9. Yes I like the M&P's. My wife that never liked pistols took a CC class aobut a month ago and told me today "we need to go shooting". "Yes we can", that's something I can get behind.
You would be correct Ray. Tahoe in the garage and my "man van" mega cab for pullin. Wisconsin Rapids is a nice place for the summer. I spent my summers on Green Lake and grew up in Elgin, IL. I do miss the lake but not IL!
I was supposed to pick the camper up in Billings MT and was going to have a fun weekend with the family. Well best laid plans didn't work, my son got sick and RVW were not able to get it their on time anyway because of a truck break down with the delivery co. So they delivered it to my house...
I bought this TH sight unseen. Never been in a 3010 but have been in other Cyclones. We did not want a camper longer than 35ft because many camp ground here in MT have small spots. We do not have "toys" but four kids with bike and other stuff. The garage will be dining room and bedroom/play...
Took delivery last Sunday. A little mix up in the delivery but it saved me 500 mile round trip so It worked out.
2011 cyclone 3010 with dual pane windows, bedroom fantastic vent, fold down queen beds in the garage red exterior with mocha interior. I did not want a generator as it saves weight...
Jarrett, I think the R-value is pretty standard. I would like if heated holding tanks were on option. Here in Montana it is pretty easy to be camping in the fall and get down to 0 degrees F at night. My Wildcat would start to get ice in the lines around 20. I will be insulating the floor of...
I did the same in my last camper and it made a HUGE differance. I order my new Cy3010 with dual pane so I will see how that works. I also liked blocking the light with the foil insulation.
Ruger LCR with lazer grip and hornady critical defense for around town. Smith and Wesson M&P40compact while I bow hunt. Kimber Raptor pro .45 hiking/camping. 12gauge pump or any of the others in the house. The sound of a pump cycling is universal along with a red dot on your chest in the...
Anyone know if the factory will install them? How much? I was quoted $960 from RVwholesalers for two slided outs awnings on my 3010 that I just ordered.
The local RV dealer (not a cyclone) replace a few back windows and after that the have put sliders in all shortboxes with toy haulers. He told me only get the superglide unless you have to because of the diffeculty unhooking and high angles. Now if I was only going to be parking on level...
The two problems I have is that I already have the B&W hitch and second it that I almost never hook and unhook on level gound and straight back. Somtimes I am hooking up at a 30-40 degree angle. I have heard that this is very hard to do with the pullright.
Mike, I wish that heartland made a cyclone that was like the 3814 but with a 10 ft garage or 3010 that had a kitchen slide with and island. I just ordered a 3010 and hope it works for my family. Wife and I along with four children 11 down to 2. We are going from a wildcat 32qbbs bunkhouse but...
Well it sounds like I will not be able to make a "88" degree turn with the cyclone because it is wider than a standard 5er. If I can turn as sharp as I could with my wildcat than I will be ok, just always carefull and nervus backing in:rolleyes:
I just want to be sure that I can tow with this hitch ie no slider? I had a WildCat and was able to make fairly tight turns maybe 55-60 degree turn so I had to be very carefull. The cyclone is wider but had a much better front cap. I am hoping for 75 degree. What do you guys and gals think?
I have a few more questions.
I sold our Wildcat 32qbbs last fall and it was a great camper for our needs. We have 4 kids from soon to be 11 down to almost 2. The bunk house was a great design and the kids had a play area and had great storage. The problem was all the bikes, coolers, dog...
Re: 3612 tow vechile?
I had a 06 2500 quad cab short box dodge with exhaust brake and edge chip and it was great pulling and stoping my 32 ft wildcat. Anytime I leave town I am going over a pass here in Montana and I could pass and accelerate if I wanted to. With that said I had some precious...
Hello all,
I am looking at ordering a 3010 and wonder what you guys think. Here in MT camping spots are tight so length is a concern so the 3010 fits the bill. The options I want are dual pane windows as it gets cold in the fall, do they help that much? I have a portable yamaha 2400...
