Anyone out there have or have used the Reese Bulldog 5th wheel turn over ball hitch? This is similar to the BW Companion hitch. I just bought a 04.5 Dodge 3500 dually that already has the turnover ball in. I don't want to tear that all out to put my old 16K Super 5 in.
Just an update on my RM1350. Last April when we noticed the flap was not coming forward when the left doo closed. Thus not sealing the right door. The dealer said a washer was missing on the bottom of the left door. They fixed that. Since then the doors seals and locks and all is well. Benn on...
To all the folks with RM1350 fridge cooling problems. It was suggested to check the flap on the left door. Confirm it is coming all the way forward when the door is shut. Oterwise the right door will not seal. Sounds to simple!! Ours was not. So whenever we get into the fridge we shut the left...
You can go on the Lippert web site and print out all the info on the slides. There is a place on the end of the pump for a 1/4 allen socket you can ratchet or use a dril. Remember it will run everything. Like you landing gear if they are also hyd. If not just jump it with a jumper box. Works easy
Has anyone out there had the edges of the slides start to flake and brake off. It's like dried out fiber board when it dries out. I bought my 2010 used but apparently the original owner tried to use calking on one of the edges. I guessI didn't look it over well enough when we bought it. Would a...
Well I'm back! I have added 2 fans facing up at about half way up on the back of the fridge. I put a metal shield from the top of the fridge to the top of the of the top vent. I then added a fan blowing out of the top vent. All fans are tempature controled. The fridge has been staying around 36...
Bill, I have your drawing for the baffle. Going to add that this weekend. Sorry to all for the rage. I just hate warm milk!! Love the trailer just hate the fridge. The response from Heartland was a lttile on the cold side. I did check and add a second fan in the back. Also whenever possible I...
Well folks hears the answer we got from Heartland. It's not their problem it's Dometic's. Heartland designs a floorplan that does not allow the RM1350 to vent properly so they pass the buck. The fridge works but too much heat in the slide and will not vent properly to the side.
I have a 2010 Augusta. The fridge has not worked properly since we got the unit. Now Dometic is telling the shop the RM1350 does not vent properly in a slide out. They are saying they notified manufaturers not to put them in slides. I'm at the point I thinking of removing it and installing a...
I have a 2010. It came winterized. So to dewinterize do I do the same thing I did with my old Dutchman? All I did there was hook up the city water and flush. After flushing I turn the bypass valve off. Anything I'm skipping?
ok, So here is my dumb question. My wife and I just bought a used 2010 Augusta. The dealer said we have to remove the backs of the 2 living room chairs in order for them to fit with the slides in. Is this true? If not how do they set?
