Been looking at Heartlands site and little confused on this construction. The floor of the slide outs. Is it plywood with some sort of backing for insulation? If so wouldn't the rollers crush the insulation. Or is it laminated like the rest of coach?

Understand on larger units 40ish' that chassis are same. What is major differences.

Dealer we are talking to orders his Landmarks with no heat pump and a fireplace. He states the fireplace emits more heat than a heat pump. Says running system fan with it circulating heat works better than the heat pumps. I have heat pumps in current unit and no fire place. Is this correct?

Wished Heartland would offer this in these "full time units". The gas absorbent units have never worked as well as a compressor unit. With these new "energy efficient" models an extra battery and a small inverter is all that would be needed to run it.

We are full time in a 06 32' DRV. It is too small and a new DRV is not in the mix. How do these units fare in cold weather, down to 0? My DRV is cold in slides. How are these? Can you really tow these with a short bed truck? Any axle problems? 7,000lbs axles seem underrated. My DRV has 8,000. I...
