NO! That defeats the pourpose of the skirting... Ya want the skirting to BLOCK the wind and cold from getting under the trailer.

I have to laugh......... ok, you haven't done much mechanic'in' on stuff. Engineers design some of the most skeewhompus things I've ever ran across. I've had to remove things 5X's the size and weight of what was broke to just reach a screw!
If it were up to me.. the engineers...

I got zero replies here. Didn't really expect any as I was 'venting'.
Now it is time to say see ya on the road somewhere sometime. Went with another brand of fifthwheel.

Went by my local dealer yesterday... seems that there have been some mid year "changes".
They did put the slam-shuts on the XLT's. (That's good!)

Think kakampers has it nailed... also, the suspensions are pre-fab at Lippert / Dexter, whoever... they get shipped in the open, & stored in the open.
Then when you picked it up. the roads already had salt/chemical residue on them. Dosen't have to be wet for it to...

The sheep camps were built as modern upgrades to the old ones. They use modern materials but retain a simularity to the way they were and the olden Gypse wagons from way back in the day before propane furnaces were even thought of.
The folks at Timberline even build their own...

Was courious about plumming diagrams. Does the factory have these available for the owners? Might be a nice thing to have. See where things are routed and maybe some notes as to why here instead of there. Especially if there looks like it might make...

Thanks for your input. As a fulltimer once I get somewhere It's awhile before I scoot off to the next resting spot. I think that I enjoy the extra floor space ( I know the pooch will appericate NOT having toback out when he's done eating or getting a quick slurp of water)...

Thanks for the reply. I full time now in Central Utah (we do -20, -30 and sometimes -40's), only in a 1995 TT. This is getting costly to the point of being prohibitave.
My decision is split as I do have some hobbies that need a small bit of extra space (that's why I torn between...

Am getting ready to up grade to a Fiver and am beginning to lock on to a Sundance.

What I'd like to know as I intend to Fulltime in itis this;
Can I get an "ARTIC" type of upgrade for insulation, double pane windows that sort of stuff?
Anyone out...
Howdy All;

Would appericate hearing from some owners of the 265RK & the 285BH.
Would especially like to hear from full-timers. Ya'll know the things, cool breezes inna winter, cost to heat (elect. & propane), avg. cost for elect. year round.
