hoefler,
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
I guess I wasn't very clear. The inverter will be installed in the factory battery location with no battery. The four pack of T105 batteries will be in a sealed, vented box in the very front compartment, away from the inverter compartment and any...
Here's an update.
Our new rig showed up today and the dealer called to see if we wanted a quick look before closing time. I discovered that the way the AC panel is configured it will be a piece of cake to use one side for air conditioners, water heater, ceiling fan, and converter while...
The wife and I got to see our new Elkridge today. Only had about an hour since it was almost closing time. It just came in this weekend and the dealer hasn't gone through all of the prep work yet, I hope it looks a lot better when they're done. Anyway, we are pleased as heck to know we'll be...
Thanks for all of the good feedback.
The reason for adding the 30A shore power receptacle at the front is for two reasons. First, it gives me a convenient place to plug in a lighter duty cable for connecting to my 20A plug on my house next to the RV pad. Second, I plan on storing my 2700 watt...
That is an excellent idea as long as there is room to add a sub panel next to the main panel. It would accomplish my objective without adding a new 30A breaker (and enclosure) near the inverter.
Thanks!
Snakebite,
Nice demonstration of a simple installation. Is that a 250A fuse or circuit breaker on your battery line? If it's a circuit breaker, what model is it?

Hi all, :)
This subject actually involves 120 Volt AC, 12 Volt DC, and Inverters/Converters all in one subject but I posted it here for lack of a better idea. Basically I'm looking for input from anyone who has performed all or some of my proposed modifications.
I've attached a scan of a...
Thanks for the tip about the PDI. I received a VIN about one month ago. The last six digits are 236981, I've seen other threads where a factory rep has provided build information. I'm not sure why, but my dealer is very slow to respond. I'm not complaining, just anticipation.

Nothing like having a factory rep on hand at a show to give you confidence in the product and the company. We also were confronted with an "offer we couldn't refuse".
Wondering if we can get an update on the status of our new RV. As you can imagine, we are very excited about taking delivery. Vin number is hiding from me at the moment, name reference on the order is Lane.
This is our third unit but first fifth wheel. First Elkridge also.
Thanks
