    Hydraulic Breaker???

That won't work. With the breakers in series, the 30 amp will trip when 30 amps flows through it and that opens the circuit. You might think that putting them in parallel than would work but you can't guarantee that 50 amps goes through the 50 amp breaker and 30 amps goes through the 30 amp...

    VuQube portable satellite experience?

I don't know. I've never experimented with it. The antenna is powered by the receiver. When you have an antenna that feeds two receivers vs an antenna that feeds four receivers, I know they have a different switch. So if you connect two receivers to an antenna without the proper switch I don't...

    VuQube portable satellite experience?

Another thing to consider is that the cube has one output. Since my wife and I watch different shows, I wired our Landmark so we use two receivers, one in the bedroom and one in the rear lounge. We use an antenna with two outputs.

Distance on center of wall frame studs

medic9016 We have a Landmark so the studs are probably not the same. However, you can see where the studs are if you take a look along the outside wall especially in the morning when it's cool outside. You should be able to see the studs outline as you look along the side.

    Dish or Direct

I have direct TV and have found that I can align the antenna by listening to the sound from the TV a lot faster than by using the signal finder. The signal finder has to be constantly adjusted as you align the antenna. Could use three or maybe four hands to do it all. I have one of those...

    Toilet Water Flow

Jopa I had the water completely stop on the toilet in my Landmark. I found there is a screen in the entrance to the valve. You have to turn the water off, take the valve apart and open the water line to get to it. Mine was plugged with calcium. I dumped it out, put everything back together and...

    Tripod under the kingpin

I tried a tripod and found that it didn't do much. Another solution is to purchase a pair of scissor jacks. A lot of the bounce comes from your suspension so if you can get the weight off of the suspension you'll bounce less. When we're set up for a long period of time, I put the jacks behind...

vrugt I have a macerator pump. The problem was with the campground. They didn't want any more water in their septic system because the campground was flooded. After our tank was filled I went to the office and they let me dump. They just wanted to control how much water was going into the sytem.

We use a little domed charcoal grill and love it. I tried a small gas grill but didn't like it. I couldn't control the heat well enough to roast chicken or grill ribs. They've got us dumping gray water on the ground and can't dump black at all. They've asked us to come to...

How to properly change a tire.

Heartland has to hold to the axle manufacturer's recommendations so you can't fault them. Al-Ko says not to jack on the axle. I went round and round with their engineer and couldn't get any where. I explained that with the Monticello, which has three axles, that I couldn't get a bottle jack to...

    Holding Tank Locations?

Another thing to look at for bracing is Unistrut. You can get it at Home Depot and it's a lot cheaper than steel angle. I used it to brace my gray tank. I ran it accross and bolted it to the frame on each side.

Power for the Propane Leak Detector

landmarkbuilder Yes, I assume the same thing. It would be nice to have a wiring diagram to determine what's going on. The 10 amp fuse wasn't the problem. It worked for a while because there was no call for heat. As soon as the water cooled off and the heater called for heat, the fuse blew again...

I thought that was the way mine would be. The cable goes into an aluminun cylinder and the other end of the cylinder is attached to the valve shaft. I couldn't see any set screw on the side toward me and I couldn't feel any set screw on the back side. That's why I decided to ask the group.

What tire pressure to run for 110 PSI Cold Max

RV Today did a segment on tire pressures when they covered weighing your rig. They referred to the tire manufacturers load rating guide which describes the pressure to run for the weight you carry. You need to get your trailer weighed and adjust the tire pressure accordingly.

Where do you jack your trailer?

I would think either method 1 or 2 would work. The only thing Cris mentioned was not to lift on the flange, stay in the middle of the frame. If you watch any of the History Channel programs on moving things, they usually show blocking under the jack. It's probably more stable to have the blocks...
