    Replacing Furnace...........

Marv on post no. 14 sums the issue of CO2 very well. I have an Olympian Wave 8 that I installed in my rig. In the day, I always leave a window open and at night I shut the heater off and use the electric heaters. I am only worried about the condensation that the catalytic heater produces...

    King bed is too large

I have a 2007, 3670 BH and that was the first thing I have done; substitute the king size mattress for a queen. What a huge difference. You will need to trim the plywood on both sides of the box which is a no brainer. Good luck!

My 2007 BH 3670 came with a ceiling fan that I use a lot. It stop working. The fan lights are still functionning but the fan itself either in forward or reverse mode is not although I can hear a continuous "hum" when powered. Have any of you encountered this problem before? As usual, thank you...

    Mystery tank!!!

Thank you very much folks for the information. It is indeed the fresh water tank. I opened the valve located in front of the axle on the driver's side. Very little water came out of it which leaves me with water still in the tank. Perhaps I will have to do some work under the belly like in...

    Mystery tank!!!

Under my BH 3670 there is a tank just above the rear axle. I noticed that there is some liquid in it despite the fact that I emptied the two gray tanks and the black tank. I am connected on city water and I do not have any water that was put in the water tank. My question is: which tank is...

    Locks of basement exterior panels

I visited a Bighorn dealer with my brother-in-law last weekend and we were both surprised when a salesman pointed out to us that the keys to unlock the exterior panels of the basement compartment were identical from one unit to the other. To prove his point, he showed us the key of a Bighorn...

    Your Thoughts on the 70's

I am a proud owner of a 07 3670 and if I have to do it again, without hesitation, I would go for a 3670. I like the open concept of the 3670 that the 3370 does not offer because of the cupboards over the kitchen sink. That factor combined with the length of the 3670 is a big plus in favor of...

    Installing a generator

I bought a Honda EU2000i generator for my 3670 which came already with the generator prep option. As I am away from my rig for the next two weeks, can someone tell me if I can install it myself and wire it to the electrical system of the rig or is better to have it installed by an electrician...

    Quick connector

The spray port in the docking center is equiped with a female quick connector so that I can insert the male part of the coiled hose when cleaning the black tank after flushing. Until last week, I never had a problem connecting the hose to the spray port. Yesterday, when I went to clean the black...

30 amp avail. with Big Horn

Hello Chardel: When you will go for your pre-delivery inspection (PDI), I strongly recommend that you bring with you, your own checklist that you will find at the link below. I used it when I took possession of my 07 3670RL and believe me, it really saved me a lot of hassles. The dealer may...

    Slide toppers adjustment

One of the slide toppers on my BH is slack to the point that there is a puddle of water as a result of rain. Is there a way that I can tighten the toppers myself without having to bring the rig to the dealer who is located at more than 60 miles from here? I have not found that information...

Model 3670 Fridge and Stove slideout

Thank you Jimmy for the info. I moved the slide to the middle and combined with the exterior hose which has been stretched out to the max, there is no more freezing built up. Now my only concern is the slideout adjustment. I will bring it to the dealer for service.

Model 3670 Fridge and Stove slideout

Thank you CDB, there was indeed a good 6 to 8 inches of hose rolled inside the grill on the exterior wall. Jimmy, I have a 12 cu. ft fridge and inside the fins are located on the back wall. On the first fin on the far right there is a white wired slide that you can bring up or down. Was there...

Model 3670 Fridge and Stove slideout

Thank you for the link RV-Ramblers, I find it helpful to understand the mechanism. The reason why I raise the issue of the slideout with the fridge is because the water resulting from condensation in the fridge freezes in the exit container when it should exit outside through the exterior...

Model 3670 Fridge and Stove slideout

I have this question for those owners of the BH 3670 model. The kitchen slideout on mine appears to be off a bit in that the bottom portion when extended goes out a few inches more than the top portion. You can see this when you are outside looking at all 3 slideouts on the same side. I am...

    Awning Adjustments

Slideout awning adjustment My BH 3670 came with awnings on the slideouts. I noticed that two of the awnings are sagging and need adjustment. Has anyone ever had to adjust their awnings and if so how have you done it. I don't want to go and try to figure out in case that I complicate things...

    Water heater bypass

I have a 2007 Bighorn 3670 model. I am using it for the first time on the West Coast. Everything is fine so far except for the water heater. I was able to start it but I do not have hot water coming out from the tap. I checked the pressure relief valve at the hot water tank and there was hot...

    New Bighorn Owner to be

To Jimtoo and DougLynne: The DVD AM-FM tuner is a Coby: the TV is a Oliveira (unsure about the spelling) and is a flat screen TV. I will be going back to the RV in about a month from now and I will spend all the time that is necessary to make it work. Once I figured it out, I will be more than...
