Help keep blowing tires what to do????

If you don't have a mechanical issue with the axles, or alignment, the best thing to do would be to go to 16" wheels/tires. I think they are optional now, when we bought ours, an 07 4012, it only came with 15"wheels/tires. I had the dealer replace all of them with 16" aluminum wheels and...

    Water leak from slideout

I have a 4012, we've seen this problem a time or two since we've have the RV (it's an '07). On ours, the wet area on the floor only shows up after driving in heavy rain, not just sitting, which made me think the leak was somewhere underneath the body in the wheelwell area where the front tire...

    water leak in kitchen

I had the dealer adjust the slides the last time we were in, that didn't seem to help. I have not brought up the issue of the leak under the refrigerator. It seems that every time my RV goes to the dealer to get one thing fixed, it takes 3 trips and something else gets broken in the process...

    water leak in kitchen

Thanks for the replies, and I think I miscommunicated what I mentioned about the slides. I meant that "with the slides closed to begin with" there is wet carpet near the edges. It came across as "after I put the slides in while wet". Sorry for the misunderstanding. I initially thought the...

    water leak in kitchen

Someone else mentioned this in the General section, so I thought I would put it here. We have a 4012 and have had leaks in the kitchen area twice now during rainstorms, in which water comes in from the refrigerator cover outside, and runs into the kitchen. Has this been experienced by anyone...

Nasty water leak....can you guess from where?

I have had this same problem twice during rainstorms when there is a bit of wind. It does appear to be coming in from the refrigerator outside cover. Don't really know what to do about it though. Haven't had it to the dealer to check it, they'll break something else while looking at this. -JR

    Replace fold out mattress

We have an 07 4012, with the fold out sofa bed in the living room, honestly, not too comfortable. Is it possible to replace that mattress with the new air up mattress on the 08 models? If so, any idea of cost? thanks, -JR

    Fuel Filling Painfully slow?

What I've found is that the fill entry on the outside of the RV is basically horizontal to the entry into the tank, and the gas just can't flow directly into the tank like that. I've gotten a piece of fuel hose that will fit over a gas nozzle, and opened up the fill hole on the RV, and then put...

Misc. Wheels, Tires and Axle Discussions

I figured that was the deal about your question, not knowing it has 3 axles. Waht was nice, they replaced the originals with wheels that are practically identical to the stock aluminums that were on it, and Michelins.

    Current factory answer on goosenecks

Thanks for the replies guys. I know in most cases, the manufacturer does not OK the use of the gooseneck, but it got me to wondering about the Cyclone since someone had said they looked at one and had the option. It definitely rides best on my B&W 5th wheel, but sometimes it would sure be handy...

    Current factory answer on goosenecks

I read somewhere else that someone looked at a Cyclone with the option to have a 5th wheel or gooseneck on it. What is the factory's current position on gooseneck hitches on the bigger RVs, such as the 4012 or 3912. We have a 4012 running a B&W companion 5th, but certain times of the year it...

Misc. Wheels, Tires and Axle Discussions

I think they are Es. Can't go look at it as it is at the dealer having the slides adjusted. The 15" tires on it were D rated, so it covered right up to the 15K that could be on the RV axles (3 axle). With the 16s, we could have the entire GVWR of the rig on the RV axles and not be over. As it is...

Misc. Wheels, Tires and Axle Discussions

We had the dealer change the tires and wheels on our 4012 to 16" E rated before we picked the thing up. I feel better with more leeway on the tires, and more clearance for where we go. -JR

    Heater Not Strong Enough?

Thanks guys, I've been away a while. The furnace was blowing all out of every crack, we've sealed it up as much as possible and closed off about half of the 4" duct that goes up front. The rectangular duct does not appear to crushed or blocked, but it's at the dealer for some other stuff, and...

    Heater Not Strong Enough?

more "no heat" I have a 4012 with the same issue. Very little heat in the main part of the RV, up front it's really warm. I've tried to close off part of the ductwork to the front, but that didn't help much in the back. I went in someone else's 4012 and it was nice and toasty after 20 minutes...
