That kind of customer relations was one of the factors that was important to me before I bought a Heartland product. Way to go Heartland!!!!!!

Next week we will be heading west. We will be headed for Rocky Mtn N.P. Our kids are excited to see the mountains. OUr route will be thru Wis,IA, CO, then back thru KS, MO, IL, WI. We will keep our eyes open for other Heartland Owners.

I agree with you on your point that people will complain rather than offer a praise (human nature I guess). We have owned our Sundance for about 6 months and we love ours. Just a few minor issues nothing big. Good luck on your choice.

I agree with Tom. As I mentioned in my first post we got nothing but a run around from Wagners in Green Bay. I hope Heartland dumps them and allows another dealership to take them on. I have a couple of other concerns also that willl need to be done under warranty I hope they can get them...

We did end up staying in Jellystone for two nights. Thank goodness they were free nights because the sites we had were not flat and we were about 75 yards from the interstate. The kids loved the water park and had lots of fun. We also did the Wis original ducks. The kids had a great time.

That weekend will be right after we return from our vaction and the week before we go to Door County. It is possible that our plans may change and we could be in that general area. I will have to keep that in mind if our plans do change. Time will tell.

I have used the foam to fill some gaps in the under belly of mine but I have not tackeled the other gaps yet. I figure (hope) I have a few months before the critters start looking for a new home. I will get to it soon enough. Jason

We have a 2007 and we do not have any 12v plug ins either. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me. If someone does add one post the procedure and your suggestions and ideas. I would also like to add one also.

I would have to second the traffic. We have found some short cuts to get around the traffic but it can be very bad.

It is nice. There are a lot of things to do there (both young and old). I am glad that it is in June. We have been there in July/August and it is HOT! Well at least too hot for us Wisconsinites. :) As it gets closer I can post some things that people may be interested in doing while there.

I bought my Jayco TT there and was always very pleased with the service I recieved. Unfortunatly the sister dealership north of Green Bay has some work to do in order to get as good as the Cleveland dealership.

We travel with ours on. I do agree that those of you that dont leave it on make some good points.

To those that did the mod "tent in the vent" did you completely cover the outermost portion of the vent (the area near the ajustable grate) with sheet metal and tape or did you leave some of it open? Have you hade any problems with the unit freezing up after the mod? Thanks Jason

I did take my vents off and tried to see if the duct work is crushed. As near as I can tell they are not. I also checked the furnace and made sure it was seated properly and all looked ok. I blocked off the rear vents to try and push the air to the front of the coach. This seemed to help just a...

Knock on wood. I have had mine "fixed" 3 times. The last one was at about 39000 miles, they fixed it under warranty. I now have almost 54000 miles and the rattle is still gone. I am waiting for it to return and I am sure it will.

I think I know what you are talking about. Both my main slide and bedroom slide makes a similiar type noise. I wouldnt describe it as gears grinding but more of a clunking type sound when the slide is all the way in or all the way out. I asked the dealer and I was told that it was "normal". It...

Have a good trip. I have stayed at Goose Island a few times. Real nice park. Another nice park in LaCrosse is Pettibone (sp). It is a a private so its a little more $$$ than Goose Island. We get to the LaCrosse area at least 1-2 times a year.

I too have a slider hitch. As noted above I have it just in case I tow a trailer that "needs" the slider. I have not needed it but it is nice to know that I have it just in case.
