To be able to use the rod I will have to move the steps and also drill a hole thru the outside of the I guess you would call it the outside fairing. Have used this forum for several complaints and just get ignored or either told I'm not using it the right way. When the slide motor quit I ended...
Be happy that you can open it manually. When they built ours they put the step brackets over the hole. Have tried to get an answer from someone about this and they just ignore me.
If that's so why do all commercial vehicles have all the lines teed together on the truck and trailer. Also they do not have any springs like our pickups have. If a bag or line blows they will sit all the way down on the stops. On our pickups they will just settle down on the springs.
I don't know what happened when it was built but there is no way to insert the crank because of where the steps are mounted. Part of the access hole is covered
I can not access the hole to manually open the living room slide due to the steps are partially covering the hole and even if there is a hole in the skirting you will not be able to put the crank in the hole through the frame. because of the way the steps are mounted. If there was a hole it...
I can find the hole in the frame but there is no way to insert the crank. The hole for the living room slide is at the edge of the steps. My steps partially cover the access hole
I can't open the slides manually because there is not an hole or anywhere to insert the crank handle through the outside. I have looked at other manufacturers and they drilled a hole and put a grommet in the hole to insert the crank on the outside of the skirting. Is this something that should...
Talked to someone at Lippert and they said to take it to a dealer and they would get it fixed. I asked if they would still warranty it if I did the repairs myself and they said sure. Told me to take measurement of all the adjustments and remove it. Removed the actuator and gave them the numbers...
Where do you find the tape to repair the underside when you have to cut it open. I tried searching but could not find what it is called or where to get it
Well guess what. I cant get the bar in place to open the slide manually. The steps and the side is in the way. Somebody was not thinking when they designed this. Everyone needs to check theirs too. I loosed the nut on the slide were the actuator hooks to and it was easy to open the side with a...
We have a 2007 Sundance 2900MK that the living room slide will not open. It sounds like a popping sound when you try to open it. Where do I need to start first to see whats wrong with it.
I have 4 of the 6 lug 15" Alum wheels and Mission tires off of my Sundance. Only have about 2000 miles on them. Took them off to put on 16" wheels and tires. Located in NE Ga. Somebody make me an offer.
I own one truck and only run in the southeast states. A year ago my fuel bill was around $1100.00 a week. This past week I paid $1850.00. Mile were about the same too. People will not pay enough fuel surcharge to make up the difference. I'm thinking about parking my truck and get another job...
Sliders are electric and go out one at a time. I have the same set up. I have a slider but have never used it . I only got the slider because it was part of the deal. The duramax will pull it just fine. About 11 mpg running 65-70. If you have any more questions let me know.
I have 4 of the 15" 6 lug wheels with tires off of a Sundance. These are the aluminum spoke wheels that come on them new. Have center caps and lug nuts too. They only have about 1000 miles on them and nothing are wrong with them. Took them off because I changed to 16". Make an offer...
2900MK One Year Later
We really like the Sundance 2900MK,but here are a few things that we have changed and or updated.
1. Changed tires and wheels to 16" to have the better tires for safety and our piece of mind.
2. Two new recliners for more comfort, and support. The ones that were in it...
We have a 2007 2900MK. The water heater works fine on electric but does not do anything on gas. The switch behind the outside cover can be turned on and it will still not light.
Does anyone know what might be wrong.
We have the Suburban 10-12 gal model.
I'm glad I'm not the only one here that feels the same way I do about the LT tires vs ST tires. If better tires were available in a ST then that is what I would use. Until then I will only run LT on my 5er.
Why not. Tires made for a trailer are rated at 65 mph. Tires rated for a TV are rated higher. I feel safer with tires that are for a TV because they are made better in my opinion.
A tire maker will make a better tire for a TV because more is at stake.
If you blow a trailer tire about all...
I replaced my 15" with 16". Found some wheels that are 16" with 6 lugs. Put new tires on TV and put old ones one 5vr. Tires only had 10000 miles on them. Thay are 245/75/16E. Had to do a little triming on the finder skirts. Looks better and will give me peace of mind.
