I have a 05 Monticello. The plastic pull down (it releases the handle so you can fold it back up) broke. Does anyone know who manufactured the handle. I am needing to replace and cannot find that style of handle.

J-W&E I have a Monticello and experinced the same problem. Took it back to the dealer who called Lippert and was informed by them to clean the flow control valves. After $550.00 I picked up the unit and guess what-- Still doing the same thing. Lippert now tells the dealer the flow control valve...

Tom, I am researching the replacement and install now. I asked the question if I could take it back to the factory, but Scott did not answer that question. Must not have that ability or may not want to start. I will post what I find. The cost is of a concern for me too.

I was thinking the same thing. I will even go to the expense of replacing the existing windows with dual pane. Now I just have to find the windows, and HOPE that they get installed without any leaks. I am currently using the 5th wheel to start up various contracts across the US. I like the unit.

This may sound crazy, but I would like to have a schematic of the roof. In particular, Location of each holding tank vents. I want to replace the factor installed with a device that will pull the odor from the holding tank.

Landmark Monticello

Jim: Here is a pic of our rig. Took it in Vegas last summer.

I use the heat pump at night and in the morning when I get up (5am) I turn on the furance. Once the morning warms up enough, the misses switches it back to the heat pump. And yes you can burn thru alot of propane. I went thru 80+#'s in less than 10 days. The nightime lows were in the lower 20's...

KIB Monitor Panel I found the attached file for the KIB Monitor Panel. Not had a chance to look in detail at it but it does give several schematics. Hopes this helps all. I think I now have all the owners manuals for equip that was installed.

Was wondering who manufactures the Tank monitoring system that Heartland uses? I have a 2005 Monticello and I am having some sensor problems with the grey #2 tank.

Slaytop: Yes it broke in the middle. And one broke where it was attached to the frame. (Not the hinge pin). In my opinion, The product is not made to be "stretched" or bent. I have 4 slides and all 3 that have the Lippert product have had a problem.

I have had the same problem only mine has broke in several places, not just where it hinges. I went to Lowes and bought some rubber base board coving. I extended the slide outs, drilled holes thru the plastic and base coving, used tie wraps on the top and bottom, now when I go down the road the...

Tom Sorry for the delay. I've been away for the past few days. I feel the same as Jim. If you install it yourself, don't forget to run a bead of caulk on the underside of the base. With that the screws and the caulking used around the outside I believe it'll be fine.
