    How Heartland Messed me up.

We have had a great experience with our Sundance we bought last year. No real problems. Our dealer took us through a very thorough walk through, answering all questions and explaining each feature. We are very happy.

We live in Paris and would like to see an Arkansas chapter and rally. Petit Jean State Park might be nice. We could possibly make a meeting at Lake Ouachita State Park sometime in the spring.

    Digital Thermostat

I have thought about this to. I put a Walmart digital in a house we lived in once and it worked fine. Don't know if it matters in an RV.

    Sundance Dealer Concerns

We have a 2008 Sundance 2997 BHS. We bought it last in the spring of 07. We use it one occasional weekends and some extended stays. I have yet to have to take it in to the dealer for service. We have only had three items that concerned me. 1. The Coby DVD/Stereo system is junk. This is a very...

    Sundance 3300SK Battery problem

As far as I know, causes for a battery to explode would include an internal short between the plates or a build up of fumes then a spark around the battery. Others will know more than I and should respond soon.

    Bumper Design

You can get storage tubes that attach under the rig. They are made of PVC, I think 6" in diameter. I want to get one for my Sundance. Or make one if you are handy. That's what I plan to do.

    NuWa CEO about HeartLand

I agree with Scott. The reason Heartland has attracted so much attention from them is the inroads they have made into the market. We looked at many units prior to our purchase. All brands had several similar floor plans. We chose the Sundance 2997BHS for it's options, layout, quality and price...

    Extended Warranty

Our dealer had the extended warranty option offer when we bought our unit. We took this warranty as the cost was reasonable to extend our warranty to 7 years. We also took out the roadside/tire policy. It covers our trailer and tow vehicle tires.

We say one at a show last Saturday. We plan on getting one soon. Lots better than buying ice every day.

    Does it count?

My wife and I went to an RV show in Fayetteville, AR this past weekend. One dealer had two BigHorns and a Cyclone there. Really nice units.

    Tow Vehicle Decisions

I vote for the red one. You will get more attention that way. At least for a while. Be sure to get a video first time you pull though.

Questions from a first time 5th wheeler

We also have a Sundance 2997BHS we bought in May this year. I have the wheel chocks and the pin tripod. Best results came with the wheel chocks, the ones that fit between the tires and expand outward. I do use both though. How do you your Sundance? We have used ours 5 times and have had little...

3670 on order - some questions

Our 08 Sundance We are on our 3rd trip in our 2008 Sundance 2997BHS. We have had very minor problems. The Coby DVD/CD/Radio is the worst one. Seems to be a very cheap product. Other then that, we are very happy and have found not problems worth complaining about, they are so small. Enjoy yours...

    Is this enough truck?

Took delivery of a 2003 Ford F350 Superduty 4x4 CC with 6.0L today. Traded the Dodge off. Tow rating on this truck is 12500, should do the job but is close to the weight of my Sundance 2997BHS fully loaded.

    Slider hitch?

I have a 2997BHS Sundance, 2008 model. I pull with a 97 Dodge 2500 with short bed. We have no problems. This design really works well. My hitch is a standard hitch with no slide. I am currently test driving a F350 with a long bed but am switching for the power and braking. Good Luck, Larry

    Mission Tires

All this talk has me worried about the tires on my new 5er. Do I need to replace them? Should I just watch them? I really do not want them to blow out and cause damage to my unit. That would be very upsetting. Mine are Mission TC-108 ST225/75R/15 mounted on aluminum wheels. I keep them at 80...

Had A Blast In Our Sundance

We just got back from Petit Jean State Park. We were there for 5 days. We did spot a Cyclone trailer there. Did not get a chance talk to them. It rained every day we were there. We still had fun, just had to take rain brakes occasionally.

    2008 Rally - Branson, Missouri - June 12-15, 2008 - General Thread

Branson has many access roads now that bypass Hwy76. You just have to know the map and watch for signs. And yes the traffic is heavy during the tourist season. Also, two weeks might get you to see about 70% of the sights. Growth is wild up there. We live about 4.5 hours away and make at least...

Hey everyone. I would like your opion about my truck. We have just bought a Sundance 2997BHS weighing about 11870#s. Quality of Sundance

Took delivery of our 08 2997BHS Sundance on 6/14/07 and used it this weekend. Noticed only a couple of small items, easily fixed on the spot. One problem I have to call about is the microwave. It just stopped once this weekend and would not work for about 5 minutes, then beep and was working...

    2890BHS vs. 2997BHS

We take possession of our new 2009 2997BHS Thursday the 14th. It has the bunk house and it looks great but no pictures to send yet. As far as the axles being bent, the previous post said something about camber. This is correct. This is done to cause the tires to wear correctly and also helps the...
