We have had a great experience with our Sundance we bought last year. No real problems. Our dealer took us through a very thorough walk through, answering all questions and explaining each feature. We are very happy.

We live in Paris and would like to see an Arkansas chapter and rally. Petit Jean State Park might be nice. We could possibly make a meeting at Lake Ouachita State Park sometime in the spring.

I have thought about this to. I put a Walmart digital in a house we lived in once and it worked fine. Don't know if it matters in an RV.

As far as I know, causes for a battery to explode would include an internal short between the plates or a build up of fumes then a spark around the battery. Others will know more than I and should respond soon. :eek:

You can get storage tubes that attach under the rig. They are made of PVC, I think 6" in diameter. I want to get one for my Sundance. Or make one if you are handy. That's what I plan to do.

I agree with Scott. The reason Heartland has attracted so much attention from them is the inroads they have made into the market. We looked at many units prior to our purchase. All brands had several similar floor plans. We chose the Sundance 2997BHS for it's options, layout, quality and price...

Our dealer had the extended warranty option offer when we bought our unit. We took this warranty as the cost was reasonable to extend our warranty to 7 years. We also took out the roadside/tire policy. It covers our trailer and tow vehicle tires.

We say one at a show last Saturday. We plan on getting one soon. Lots better than buying ice every day.

My wife and I went to an RV show in Fayetteville, AR this past weekend. One dealer had two BigHorns and a Cyclone there. Really nice units.

Took delivery of a 2003 Ford F350 Superduty 4x4 CC with 6.0L today. Traded the Dodge off. Tow rating on this truck is 12500, should do the job but is close to the weight of my Sundance 2997BHS fully loaded.

I have a 2997BHS Sundance, 2008 model. I pull with a 97 Dodge 2500 with short bed. We have no problems. This design really works well. My hitch is a standard hitch with no slide. I am currently test driving a F350 with a long bed but am switching for the power and braking. Good Luck, Larry

We just got back from Petit Jean State Park. We were there for 5 days. We did spot a Cyclone trailer there. Did not get a chance talk to them. It rained every day we were there. We still had fun, just had to take rain brakes occasionally.

:) My Sundance will list without the jacks down and trailer leveled. Once I level it and it is secure, no list.
