Washer / Dryer - what do you have?

We looked into the RV sized 24 inch cubed all-in-one machines but were disappointed about the lack of capacity 1.4-1.8 cu-ft. Our laundry hook ups are located in the garage of our toy hauler. We chose to go with the 4.2 cu-ft LG washer/dryer all-in-one unit with steam. It is a bit bigger in size...

    leaky undermount kitchen sink (twice)

We found that our rig had similar issues from the factory - the lack of caulking used to seal the seam where the sink met the counter top. I went under the sink and tightened the straps and screws before we sealing the entire sink myself.

low water pressure in bathroom-shower and sink

Did you look at the water bypasses under the kitchen sink? We had similar issues when we first got our rig from the dealership. Found out that the bypasses were only half way turned on.

Just upgraded from 06 Weekend Warrior to Road Warrior

Another modification which I just made was installing front and back bed rails for my kids on the upper rear bunk. I have now found it to be a great place to throw cargo/boxes and other items as a secured cargo area. The bed rails prevent anything from falling off the bed and onto the floor when...

Just upgraded from 06 Weekend Warrior to Road Warrior

Welcome to the Road Warrior club! I am a new member as well and I have found the people here quite helpful and always readily able to engage in productive conversation! We were in the same boat with regards of finding practical storage ideas/solutions for the rear garage. We found some Sterilite...

    Any experiences: Yellowstone National Park?

Hey guys, A few of our toy hauler friends have begun the initial discussion about a trip to Yellowstone National Park. Curious if anyone can give us any suggestions or tips regarding access to the park from the Seattle/Vancouver, Canada. We are planning between 2-3 weeks. Does anyone have any...

Upper bunk bed in the garage: bed rail ideas?

Hey everyone, Just spent the evening rigging up my idea of a custom bunk safety rail and ladder mount for our rear upper bunk in the garage. I was determined to create something light weight and had to have strength. After much trolling around Home Depot, I found 8x12 shelf brackets, two 1x4...

Upper bunk bed in the garage: bed rail ideas?

Great idea! Never thought about using netting to make sure the rails don't move out of place. I would really appreciate the photos!

    Disappointed with my 405 RW

Hi Randy, I am new Heartland owner and one thing I would encourage is for you to call Heartland. Have them link you directly with your regional sales/marketing representative. We were very impressed when we had questions during the pre and post purchase of our unit. The rep gave us a personal...

    True length RW415

Curious to ask what is the accuracy in actual measured lengths re: height clearances and length/widths vs what is listed in the Heartland brochures and website?

Upper bunk bed in the garage: bed rail ideas?

I am interested in seeing your actual set up. Any pictures? We were at our local Home Depot this evening looking around at available materials ranging from aluminum to actual 8 foot lengths of cedar 2x2's. I would prefer to keep the weight to a minimum as wood can add up quickly and begin to...

Slow draining shower in brand new RW unit

Hi Doc, Yes we have a new rig. We purchased it brand new from the lot and has had this problem since the beginning. It never drained quickly ever. So frustrating. I will be talking to Heartland directly in the next couple of days.

Slow draining shower in brand new RW unit

Hi everyone, I noticed that our new rig has a very slow draining shower/bathtub. We often have a good inch of bath water still trying to slowly drain away each time we finish a shower. It would often take five minutes for the water to all empty out after using it. Wondering if this is normal...

Upper bunk bed in the garage: bed rail ideas?

Hi everyone, Curious to get some feed back from some owners out there who may have young children. We were surprised that Heartland did not provide a ladder to safely access the upper garage queen bunk bed as a standard or as an option. We have young children aged 5 and 8 who we feel are unsafe...

Air Conditioning Question for SoCal, Arizonia, New Mexico

Hi everyone, Just curious what are people's opinion about the cooling capabilities between 1 versus 2 air conditioning units for their Road Warriors? I currently reside in Canada and plan to do some longer trips into Southern United States in the SoCal, Arizona, and New Mexico region. Our RW310...

RW 310: New member introduction & question regarding securing the washer/dryer in the garage...

Hi everyone, I would like to start off by introducing myself. We recently purchased a brand new 2013 Road Warrior 310 last Fall. This is our first experience having a Heartland product. We previously had a 2004 Jayco Jayflight 29BHS. My wife and I have already completed 4 weeks of camping with...
