    Essential Equipment List

Ladiver mentioned the importance of good communications skills with your person who helps you back up. I got a backup camera a year or so ago and it is my favorite thing. You can have your helper stand in the camera shot to give you directions as well as having a good view of where the RV is...

Goodyear Marathons on my 2013 Bighorn 3670RL

Having read all the stuff on Tow Max, I asked for an upgrade when we picked up our Bighorn in July of 2013. My dealer upgraded me to Goodyear Marathons for about $400 more. We have pulled the fifth wheel about 15,000 miles in the last 21 months. I lost one of the tires, probably to road...

    Full Timing and Thanksgiving

We originally planned to head south after Christmas, but as cold as it has been the last years in TN, we are going down the first weekend in December. (If my family was in NY, I would already be in FL.) There are plenty of snowbirds down south before Thanksgiving.

Countertop Dishwasher faucet connections Bighorn 3670RL

I am contemplating getting a counter top dishwasher (SPT or Danby) for our 2013 Bighorn 3670RL. My concern is the pull down spray nozzle in the kitchen sink. Can I get an adapter that lets me still use the sprayer; can I switch them out easily; or do I need to get a new faucet and forget the...

SOLVED: 2015 Big Country - no DC power

Your Fridge shouldn't be running when you are on battery power. Put it on automatic and it will switch to propane when you are not on shore power. On my 2013 Bighorn 3670RL there is a circuit breaker inside that is on the inverter circuit. Didn't know about the little red reset button.

    Garmin RV 760LMT Review

We just did an 8200 mile (with the trailer up), 17 state trip. I read the review and found it mostly accurate. If you put your RV specs into the GPS (overall length with truck, height, etc.) it will route you away from overpasses that are too low. It may give you a message when you are on a...

    Getting Frustrated with Mobile Connectivity

I can't imagine how frustrating that must be for you. We use an iPad connected to our Verizon account. There are a (very) few places where it hasn't been able to connect us for internet while we and is able to pull stuff off our Dish Network DVR at home if we don't have cable at the...

    Question about fifth wheel towing.......

http://www.fifthwheelst.com/documents/2007_chevrolet_silverado_owners.pdf I think your truck is on the middle panel of page 432 in this link if it is 2WD. If 4WD, page 434. (GM uses K for 4WD and C for 2WD). If you have the 6.0 gas engine, it looks like your max towing capacity would be...

looking for positive and negative comments

We opted for the combo (vented) to save space and I think it saved us some money too. The minor inconvenience from not being able to wash and dry at the same time is overcome for us in that you don't have to switch the load from one to the other. We travel with a weeks worth of clothes and do...

Buying new truck; long bed vs. short bed?

The shorter wheel base will give you a maneuvering edge when backing in. I had to maneuver back and forth several times to get my previous fifth wheel parked when at home. Would not have been possible at all with a longer wheel base.
