    Holding tank flusher leak

The holding tank flusher in my 3670 leaks. It appears that the PEX tubing leading up to the anti-siphon vacuum breaker (hidden in the wall) was nicked by either a screw or staple. When I use the flusher I get water dripping down from the hole where the valve is located. I can not get the valve...

    Holding tank flusher problem

I have a 08 3670 and found that I have an issue with the holding tank flusher. Seems that when the unit was assembled either a screw or staple must have nicked the line leading to the anti-siphon valve for the flusher. Now the problem is that the valve is located in the wall about three feet...

    Need Help With Samsung

You need to hook the audio out on the TV to the AUX IN on the Samsung unit. Set the Samsung to AUX and adjust the volume. You may find there is a delay in the two audio sources in which case just turn down the TV.

    Toilet valve noise

Does everybody's toilet make a loud noise as the water valve closes when flushing? When you step on the pedal then release it t makes a loud thud as the valve closes. Very annoying in the middle of the night.

    Leaky Bedroom Slide (when open)

We have a 08 3670and are also seasonal up in NH. We have had some VERY heavy rains lately and luckily (knocking on wood) we have had no leaks. My parents on the other hand have had a leak in their Cameo, another seasonal had one in his Prowler, so it looks lie water doesn't care what make you...

    Sagging ceiling

Talked to Tim and the dealership. All have agreed that I can wait until the end ot the camping season to have the unit worked on. That good news for me seeing as I have to pay for the stie whether the rig is there or not. Good news also that with all the severe weather we've had here there are...

    Sagging ceiling

Quick update: I was contacted by Tim Peterson and Heartland wants to work on fixing whatever the problem is. Sounds like they want to drop the ceiling panels and sister in new roof trusses where needed. Tim said they would rather not touch the roof seeing as I have no leaks (if it ain't broke...

    Sagging ceiling

Hi Jim, I had a tech from the dealership out on June 20th to look at the roof. He said there was definitely a problem, but not sure what the cause could be. He took some pictures and said he would submit his report to the warranty dept. Is there anything someone at Heartland can do to get the...

    Sagging ceiling pictures

Hi Coley, I had a tech from my dealership out on June 20th. I have had no luck getting a response from them. Could someone from Heartland help out and get the ball rolling for me? My dealership is Camper's Inn in Merrimack, NH. I usually talked to the salesperson I had, but they recently let...

    Water Pressure

A house system can safely handle 70 - 80 psi, but that's the limit. I would assume that the fixtures in the trailer can handle the same. I know that the Pex tubing will easily handle those pressures. I would put a gauge before and after your water filter and see what the pressures are. If your...

No, thank you! It's refreshing to see a company willing to listen to customers and be willing to help them resolve issues instead of ignoring them. Between you and Jim Fenner, I feel a little more at ease knowing that my issue will be addressed. Thanks again and I'll keep you informed. Phil

    Sagging ceiling pictures

Coley, Thanks for the pictures, but I'm not questioning the material used in the roof - I could really care less - but the fact that there is a problem. I am waiting patiently for my dealer to get a technician to come out and look at the ceiling. That will be about two weeks. I posted the...

    Sagging ceiling pictures

I had posted in the general forum about my sagging ceiling in my 08 3670, but figured I'd post some pictures here to get some feedback from factory trained eyes. If you look at the transition strip just forward of th event in the kitchen, you can see that the middle of the ceiling sags. I took...

    Sagging ceiling

Thanks Jim, My dealer will have a tech out to look at it as soon as possible. I can't get it to them as I do not have a TV any longer (we had it delivered to a seasonal site). I will pass along your message to them. I will keep you updated. Thanks Phil

    Sagging ceiling

When you say straight, in which way are you refering? The roof now seems to be "flat spotted" just forward of my A/C unit. This area has no crown to it. This is the area that is sagging inside the trailer also. There is a definite problem, but getting the factory to say it is a defect will be...

    3670 furnca question

3670 furnace question Hi, I just opened my 08 3670 for the season. Our first wekend was cold and rainy. Along with finding my ktchen area ceiling sagging (see other post) I started having an issue with my furnace. It worked fine last fall, but this weekend it started to make a loud bang as it...

    Sagging ceiling

Just opened my 08 3670 for the season (we have it seasonal in NH) and to my dismay, I found that the ceiling in the kitchen area is sagging. The center is 1.5" lower than at the walls. There is no water, but rather it looks like the roof rafters sank. I went up on the roof and while the rest of...

    Motorcycle in 280BH

I don't own a North Trail, but I do own 2 VTX's! BTW you X is probably tipping the scales at closer to 700 lbs with all fluids full ;) Personally I would NOT tow with the bike at an angle in the trailer. Think about it, now the trailers front to back motion is side to side for the bike. Not much...

Fitting Camping Chairs in Exterior Compartments

I don't know if the 3055's basement is the same size as the 3670, but I have PLENTY of storage space. Two folding recliners, a couple Zip-Dee chairs, gas grill, screen house, toolbox, and a lot of other stuff in the basement area and still have some room to spare. The front compartment will...

    E-mail Fraud

A real good site to check for any of this stuff is www.snopes.com They will tell you whether it is true or false, fake or legit. As stated before, never click an embedded link in an e-mail - you have no idea where it is taking you.

    A lot of water Below

I don't have access to my rig at the moment, but the tubing used in our units is "Plumb-PLEX" a type of Pex tubing by Uponor. A special tool is needed to make the connections with this tubing (to make the correctly anyway) and there are special fitting too, or at least the type we use at my job...

    Locks of basement exterior panels

Not only will your key fit other Bighorns, it will fit almost any other brand of camper too. My parents have a Cameo and my key will one their cargo doors! Check Camping World. These replacement locks use the barrell type of key. I am looking to replace mine this spring.

    Front Cargo Light

I had some problems in mt last 5ver. Found out that the power converter was putting out 18 volts to the 12 volt system. My daughter was reading in bed and got scarred on the cheek when the lens melted and dripped on her. Very scary situation.

Bypass Water Valves on 2008 3670RL

Funny thing is that my dealer checked with the factory about installing an electric awning and they were told that was not an option, yet barely 5 months later it is.

Bypass Water Valves on 2008 3670RL

That's interesting....My '08 3670 HAS the valves in the UDC. My unit came from the factory in September, obviously they must have made some running changes. I guess I'll consider myself lucky! I wonder what other '09 changes made it into my unit???

    water hoses

I would also recommend a couple of 90* adapters for use in the docking station. BTW- My new 3670 came with a "starter" kit which included a 25' hose and regulator. Most dealers include this with new units. Good luck with the new rig! Phil

    Slide Controls

Not blind, just one switch for all the slides. The smaller slides will move first and the larger last. You can manually valve off certain slides if you wish to put in/out a certain slide.

    Grills

I have the larger Q and really like it. I had the Olymian, and personally like the Q much better. We have a seasonal site, and I have the stand for the Q, so it stays out all season long. Have had mine for 5 yrs now, and cooks as good as the day I bought it.

    Explaination of valves

If I had to venture a guess, I'd say that one is a water heater by-pass and the other is your winterization valve. I can't think of what else they could be.

    water filter

I made a setup similar to what DennisZ got from Costco. I got two whole house filters from Home Depot and the fittings from work (work in the HVAC/Plumbing dept). Flair Air Bed

Mine has a rectangular pump in the back right corner (looking at the bed) with a dial to inflate and deflate. There is a round plug to manually deflate at the foot of the bed. We have used it twice now and it has lost minimal air over the course of the night. About in line with any other air...
