Outside Shower Quick Connect Not Connecting

I am not familiar with the TT/RV style of quick disconnects, (being a new owner myself), but I use QD's on the job for air, fuels and the like. Almost all QD's will, "over time" need a shot of a lubricant such as Silicone spray as mentioned, WD-40, break free, or something cohesive to the...

Recommendations based on this scenario please (water use)

Wow great information!! I will try to flush the tanks this week end with Bleach. Being a used TT, I would feel better starting "fresh" anyway. I am not 100% sure about my tank volumes, but I believe the holding tank is 100-110 from information I have seen on the web. Pretty certian I have to...

Recommendations based on this scenario please (water use)

Thanks a million, that is what I suspected and didn't want to emulate the other "campers" without asking 1st. Mine is a 2008, so I have a city water connection on one side and the water tank fill in the front (door side). Didnt know if adding water treatment was prudent, like used in the...

OK, read through that link, now I'm scared to even put water on board at all!! LOL I have an enclosed belly until it gets to the toy end, I have no clue if its heated or whatever? Not even sure if you'd call it enclosed, looks like just black card board to me? Bought it used from a dealer...

Recommendations based on this scenario please (water use)

Thanks for the reply's!! I had no plans to use it other than for shower, potty and general use, not for consumption, I will carry filtered water this time around for coffee and drinking. Sorry, I should have mentioned that. More concerned as you put it to "introduce it" to the system. I...

I am a total newbie and also asked this question on another RV site. I have a used 3010TT and going to take it on it's "maiden" voyage next week. Scenario: Place I'm going to, has a spring fed, NON-potable water source (gravity pressure to main faucet head). I have seen many a camper here...

    Where is my converter? LOL

Thanks!!! I have read those when looking at their web page, I didn't know how to "decipher" how many stages all that info added up too! LOL 4 stages means I'm OK (compared to single stage hey told me to stay away from)

    Where is my converter? LOL

Jim ,I have a 3010TT, so not a 5th wheel. I did look in the battery box for an access wall, but reasoned they wouldn't be in that close proximity to each other due to possible sparks.

    Where is my converter? LOL

Thanks, I read through a few last night when I registered, allot of good useful reading. I tried getting the Breaker panel box out enough, without having to disconnect any wires, but no go. I will have to just go ahead and remove the wires, since that has to be the only logical place left to...

    Where is my converter? LOL

Jim, Thanks, I will get my chainsaw and see what I can find (kidding of course!!) I looked in the only to noticeable storage areas (under cabinets) and didn't notice any access points, but will go take a second look. If all else fails, I will send the wife in there, she always finds what I...

    Where is my converter? LOL

My 1st post, concerning my 1st TT:D We bought a used 2008 3010TT and brought it home Friday, out side of Carb trouble on the genset (fuel station hose looked poorly installed and had a crimp/bend so bad, the gas ate a 2" hole in it, then add boocoo varnish) I am trying to find my converter, so...
