Cracks in exterior fiberglass 2 spots

Send a message to DougLynne (Doug Ollis) Alberta chapter leader. He had a similar problem with his Big Horn 3055rl 2007. They took it to Goshen and Heartland redid the whole front cap for him. I am sure Doug would be happy to answer your questions. Garry & Bev

    linoleum tear

So this is two Heartland units with in 10 miles of each other that are having issues and both were purchased in...

    linoleum tear

When entering our brother in-law's 2008 3055RL Bighorn which had been put away for the winter, we found a large v-shaped linoleum tear extending from the bottom step to the carpet under the slide by the fridge. Has anyone else encountered this problem? There was no evidence of a tear when put in...

Traveling to Central America with RV caravan

Hi Joe, Good to hear from you. Garry asked me to send you an email to thank you for the wine and that it was very good. I did try sending an email to the address I had and for some reason it came back to me. If you could email me with the correct email address that would be great. Take care, Bev

    H.O.T.E.L. Categories - Submit yours

We have updated our H.O.T.E.L. status when it was first put up but have never been included on the HOTEL list. It is in our profile as well. We are on the farm so have a shop, mechanics tools, hospitality and 30 amp. hookup with water if a stop over is needed or a campground isn't available in...

Traveling to Central America with RV caravan

Thanks for all the good advice. We were looking at it, but not for awhile. We think that the trip would probably be too intense and as many of you have pointed out, it could get a little risky. It would be an interesting trip, but there are other ways of doing it.

Also have any of you traveled with your rv through central america? We are looking at the trip for 72 days going...

    Sawdust in Storage Compartment

The lazy wasn't actually meant for Heartland...sorry. I was talking about the fellows our friend worked with, which was the comment he had. I wonder if trying to push through trailers at such a pace that there isn't time to clean up things is a mistake. What a trailer they would make if time was...

    Rain, Headlights, and OBLIVIOTS

That's why up here in Canada the headlights on vehicles automatically turn on and run all the time. Some people couldn't think for themselves and the big brother felt they needed to look after us. The rule has worked great. Except for those vehicles with those LED lights(?) they are so bright at...

    Sawdust in Storage Compartment

A carpenter friend was telling us that when he used to build houses he saw workers sweeping all their sawdust down the furnace ducts and behind anything they could find to hide it. I think they must do this in trailer factories too. They were just to lazy to take the time to clean it up...

    Alberta Chapter - Lets Go

Since I have had a few people inquire about the Alberta Rally and Doug's computer has had a glich, here is what I know. Doug is contacting the Coyote Creek Rv park in Sundre to see if it would be possible to have our rally there. The dates he mentioned are Sept. 18 or 25. If one of the dates...

    Heartland sightings

Went to the Pine Coulee Resevoir campground near Sundre Alberta on Wednesday and there was a 3670 Big Horn. We parked two stalls down and before we were settled Al & Sheila were over for a visit. Friends of ours arrived the next day in their Sundance and parked across the road. Looked like a...

Mosquito Repellants - What Works Best?

We're with Doug and Lynne when it comes to using Watkins bug dope. We found it works better than anything else we've tried and doesn't have a bad smell either. It is a cream and not a spray, so there is no inhaleing it.

One Of These Things Is Not Like The Others.

As we were looking at the pictures of your rig, I commented to my husband, "that campground sure looks familiar". Is it Fairmont Hotsprings per chance? One of our favorite spots to go. Maybe we'll see you there sometime.
