Not sure what you mean by 85% of the total load capacity? If Tow Maxx tires are rated at 3,500 lbs each and 4 are on the trailer that would equal 14,000 lbs, the gross allowable weight of the trailer. Do you mean that 85% of that total or 11,900 should be the total weight, that would be impossible.

I have directv and use the Tailgater portable satellite finder. Works great and the unit costs $349.00. I hate using a ground mounted system, find it laborious to locate the satellites.

What about removing the spare tire and replacing with a swagman bumper mount bike rack. The bike rack and bikes probably weight less then the spare tire? Do you think the bumper will hold just the bike rack and bikes and NO spare tire?

Hi Erika and Tony. Thanks for all of your input on this great information website. With your mounted bike rack I would assume you do not have the spare tire mounted on the bumper as well. Did your 5ver have a bumper mounted spare tire or did you take it off?

I agree - much easier to enter through cover. I put two hinges and a simple slid lock on the cover to access without hav ing to remove screws each time.
