Does anyone know where to go for valuation of their 5er? I've used NADA in the past, but they only have two models for Heartland. Said they would update in September.
Wife doesn't like counter space and daughter wants BH for her friends or when another couple joins us. Also pretty hard to stow 3...
I agree with all the other opinions - a good diesel and I might also suggset 4WD. I noticed you're in Tenn. We camp a lot in the Sierras and several places I go with our 2900MK, I need 4WD, otherwise I dig holes with the back tires while climbing hills, on dirt roads or on wet, grassy areas...
Hi Newman. That was the first thing I replaced when we bought our 2900MK. I had a fairly new surround sound system that I replaced it with. Added a DVD player, a sub-woofer, and kept the original speakers. Now we can really rock-out or watch movies in surround. Big improvement over the stock.
We our the happy owners of a 2008 2900MK. We purchased almost 1 year ago and use it at least 2 times a month year round at beaches and mostly the Sierras. It keeps us warm in the Winter and cool during the Summer. We have had some minor issues - no leaks so far, that were taken care of promptly...
Haven't been on this site for a while. Stumbled on this thread and realize I have the same problem. Getting ready for 15k check-up so we'll be discussing this. Thanks a lot, guys.

We find we use the oven quite a bit in our 2008 2900MK. I looked on the Sundance website and they talk about the 22" Amana stove as if it's standard. Ours is the 16" Magic Chef:(. Does anyone know what's supposed to come in the 5'er? Or, is it whatever they have in stock? Looking to...
We purchased our 2900MK this last Summer. It came with the upgraded axles, 16" rims and Mission tires. From all my research and past experience with Maxxis ST tires, that is what we replaced the Missions with. We only do long weekend getaways and not a lot of mileage. However we do go to some...
I checked it last night and that's it. As Roazo mentioned it has a pin in the OFF position. I think I'll incorporate this in our set-up and breakdown routine. It's too easy to flip that switch hidden in the coat closet. Thanks again.
During our maiden voyage I discovered the elect HW did not work. The red lighted switch was on, the fuse is OK and the gas side works. I noticed TDHarley had mentioned something about a second switch. Does anyone know where this is? I removed the panel under the ent center and looked at a bunch...
Hey everyone. From all I've read, I'm not willing to take the chance with the Mission tires TC-108 (including different name on 1 tire). I like the Michelin Ribs but I don't think they'll fit under the wheel skirts. The current tire size is ST235/80 R16. The Ribs are LT235/85 R16s. If I heard...
Sundance Kid. Thanks for the support. I noticed you posted this about 26 minutes ago, hopefully you're still online. We brought our 5er home today and love it. HOWEVER, I checked the tires and noticed one tire is a different name than the other three. They are all MISSION but with different...
We just purchased a 2008 2900MK and it has the 16" Mission tires with 6000# axles. We pick the unit up tomorrow. Asked Sales, Service and the people who handle the PDI to upgrade to better tires based on all the stories I read. Sales won't even talk to us now - they made their sale. Service and...
