My fridge hasnt been too cold this seaon. I found the adjuster but I am pretty confused as to how it is supposed to work. Anyone know enough about how raising a sensor can change the fridge temperature to explain it to me?
I really have to believe that it is not designed that way. The TV tuner isn't part of the surround system, so you will have to see if the TV has an audio out connector on it and use an extra input to the surround system. I have never seen a system where what you are looking for works without...
Had mine for one season ... 2nd about to start
I like the 3795 quite a bit. Layout wise, I think it gives a great deal of garage and open space inside. It's not perfect but there isn't an RV out there that is. I love the little features like the plastic slide trays as well as the utility...
Wanted to update everyone on this thread since it had a few definite concerns. Testing the unit with a plug tester indeed show's the ground and neutral's are separate. No shorts or anything odd like that. No matter what cord I use, the unit continues to blow my GFCI but runs perfectly fine on a...
My dealer installed a new vent in the bedroom (as instructed by Heartland) and it works fine. Why they couldn't fix the existing vents? Your guess is as good as mine.
The sani-flush only works on the black tank. If you want to run water through your grey tanks while dumping, then you will have to go inside and turn the faucets on.
I use the sewer side plastic slide out tray. It fits just fine and if it gets a little grody, then I can hit it with the hose, a little bleach and not worry about ruining anything else.
Don't quite own a monster like that . Mine is made to be portable so we can go to remote locations. Here is a picture of it with the binoculars in the background. For scale, the 20" is 11 feet tall.
I did promise to report back what I found with the tester but to be honest, the sub 20 degree temperatures have put me off. I would much rather curl up on the couch right now and be lazy.
Incidentally, the ice underneath of the pin of my rig has prevented me from hooking up and moving the unit...
Changing out your exhaust and intake are imperative if you do other modifications to your truck but not required otherwise and will not noticeably increase your mileage or performance. It will sound pretty cool though. :D
Hate to be the nay sayer but for me, they are always getting trashed. Here in Wyoming, the wind basically rips them up pretty fast. If you live in an area that doesn't have hurricane winds, then your probably fine.
I can tell you this ... They can be a real fun to install. If you have acess to some really, really nice drill bit's, it will help. Beyond that, they are pretty self explanatory.
I also had the same issue. My fill pipe had a kink in it. Basically it was too long. The factory smashed the excess in to a kink when they screwed the cover to the siding. My dealer removed the cover shortened the pipe and put it back on. Works great now.
I just got done today putting a set of "Air Lift" air bags on my 2001 Ford F250. I have to say that I am very happy with the results but man was it an adventure. It took two full days to put all of the holes in the frame and get the wiring done. The instructions were pretty scant as well, so...
I use the velcro straps from Camping World after my parents lost their awning driving through Nebraska. Wind caught it once it opened slightly and tore it clean off. Caused decent damage to the rig as the roller flipped around.
The new technology Dish Network LNB's (labeled DPP or Dish Pro Plus), can supply more than one receiver. I have to admit that pointing is always a real adventure with the manual dish's.
Using your home reciever in your rig is very easy. You just need to perform a "Check Switch" after you get...
This may be a bit off topic as well but has anyone invested in a tire monitor system? The price tag is pretty high when you are talking about 12 tires but it may be worth it. Anyone have any stories where the system saved a blowout?
I am using the plastic slideout compartment behind the wheels on my 3795. It has drain holes and everything, so I don't mind hitting the whole thing with the hose and a little disinfectant on occassion.
Thanks for the invitation FennerJ. As soon as I get the rig back from the dealer; in a few weeks, I was going to start out with a GFCI tester in the unit. My old 25' trailer never blew my GFCI's and I am running drill's and saw's on them right now, so it just concerned me. Hopefully I will find...
I havent been able to find any 15" rims that will take 80psi as needed for "E" rated tires but I also haven't found any reputeable brand "E" rated tires in a 15" size either. Since I am running three axles, I would vote for a $700.00 option since I would have to upgrade to 16" rims.
Thanks mrcomer ... I have pulled every fuse and turned off every breaker and it still blew the GFCI. Since my dealer already said that they weren't going to check in to it (see their reply in my first post), I don't know where to turn now.
Hey there jjjelm ... Saw the thread about you being from Jelm. I have been camping at Foxpark for 15 years with my astronomical friends. I have even used the telescope on Jelm several times for the university. My telescopes finally got too heavy for my old back and I bought a Cyclone to wheel...
Not quite sure what you mean by hot water tank leak from under the sink. Is there hot water running out of the cabinet under the sink? I have a 3795 and there are two small screws holding the panel on blocking your access to the water heater. Take them out and you should be able to see all of...
The one on the right is definitely a power drain for your fresh water tank. Spin it and turn on your water pump and it drains very quickly. The one on the left .. No idea.
The standard tires on my 3795 are the same 225/75/15's that crazybanshee mentioned. I would love to replace mine with an E rated or at least nicer tire but there isnt much out there unless I want to buy new rims. After purchasing the rig, I don't have tons of money to toss around so thats a bit...
Thanks for the input so far .. I too ruined the the hot water heater inside my TT exactly the same way. Unless the dealer did this one, then it should be OK. I have not however even tried using the electric water heater in this unit, so it has never been turned on by me and as far as I know, it...
Whenever I hook my unit up to an external plug at my house, it blows the house GFCI breaker. If I use a non-GFCI plug, it doesn't seem to have any issues then. After talking with my dealer this past week, he told me that I could not use a GFCI plug. Aren't most of the campgrounds using GFCI...
