We had the same problem with our 08 Landmark. The service center dropped the underbelly and put 2 metal braces under the floor from side to side. These braces rest on the frame. This fix has done the trick for us.

Same problem on our Augusta. When we move our slide in my wife runs the button and I lift the edge of the carpet so it goes up when it hits the island. It seams to fall right back into place when the slide goes out. I hope this helps.

The 4 door fridge does have an "automatic travel lock". The manual for the fridge states that the latch will automatically lock when the engine is running. I would guess this option is used in motorhomes. I wonder if we could wire this option so when we plug our rig into our truck for travel...
