There are certain situations in which a contract may be cancelled. That's why I suggested calling the loan company and explaining the situation. The dealer will certainly say that there is no recourse.
As long as you didn't take the rig off the lot you should have 3 days to back out of the contract. Call your loan company and speak to them directly and asap about your situation.
It's time to replace them. Many local rv parts stores around here have them in stock, can't say about your area. Take one to them and they'll match up a pair for you.
This is also a bad time to have one built. After seeing all the units after the Tampa show (6 yrs ago) that had rust all over them, we decided to wait until July to order. This wasn't only Heartland units. The frames are transported in the weather, very possibly thru salt-covered roads this...
Your skylight sounds exactly like ours after two yrs of use. I caulked the skylight while waiting for the new one, sure wasn't pretty but it worked. The procedure you have written is correct, but you may as well take a bucket with you to remove the skylight because it will probably come apart in...
We have an '09 Pinehurst which we ordered July '08.
There is a 5.5" vent cap that needs replaced. My question is: What is a 5.5" vent on the roof for? Do you sell the caps for the vent? Can't find one anywhere.
Ted,
This is from an article I read about Goodyear's recommendations some time ago.
Storing Tires On the Vehicle
RV tires are mostly stored on the vehicle. For ideal storage, a vehicle should be placed on blocks so there is no weight on the tires. If this cannot be done, follow these tips...
Wow, thanks for that bit of info regarding the crock pot. Been using directly on the surface for almost 5 yrs but I'll bet after reading this the next time it will split (won't do it again to find out). The surface is really holding up well thus far though.
Couldn't agree with you more. We were talking about the same thing last night. As far as it being legal in all states as mentioned above doesn't bother me. DRV's are all over the states;)
This really would take it to the next level. Hopefully it wouldn't be accomplished by extending the...
No washing machine. I'll try posting a pic soon. I think you're correct about opening up the basement, just wish my back would cooperate:mad:
This is in an '09 Pinehurst. Thanks
Dan, I removed the shower access and only the cold/hot hoses are visible. The black flush hose is valved outside and is currently off. The leaking hose is constant.
One thing that hasn't been mentioned about the fans is that you will find that the ice no longer builds on the fins. You'll only need to defrost the freezer!
I just found water by the door and traced it to a red water line under the shower. Luckily I only had to remove the extinguisher panel to gain access. Interesting thing is that the shower hoses, one blue and one red, are not the problem. There's two more red lines running up beside the coat...
The setup you have is not good for long travels. Without the tow package you are lacking a transmission cooler, have a smaller radiator, and have 3.31 gears as opposed to 3.73. Not good at all for traveling around the country.
I wouldn't sweat the short trips while you decide on another...
I installed one of these over a yr ago in a 4-door dometic and it has kept the ice off and the compartment cool (33-36) even in the hottest florida weather!
Before you go off and tie down the unit you better make sure it is ok. Check first with your insurance carrier, bet they won't allow it. Pasco county won't allow rv tie down at all, I was told most counties are about the same concerning tie downs. People still do it though.
We've weathered...
Here is the link we used to fix the blinds.//heartlandowners.org/showthread.php/26996-Restringing-a-Pleated-Blind-A-Step-by-Step-Guide The screws are really a pain to find since they don't use brackets to secure the valance. It should have a screw at the top and bottom of each side, and 1...
This wouldn't work well at all in tight spots or where trees are present. How many of us have been in sights that aren't level where the slides are? Wouldn't work well in many parks with pads either. And list goes on...
Replacement batteries will cost nearly the same for 6 6-volt batteries or 4 12-volt ones for a golf cart. It really depends on your usage, but if you get the 48 volt cart you won't be sorry! The price here in FL is nearly the same as well for the cart.
Hey Bobby, does it tickle when they crawl on you?;)
Here is what I found a couple years back when we got them:
Biology of Drain Flies Moth flies (Drain Flies) develop by complete metamorphosis. The entire life cycle ranges from 8 to 24 days. Moth...
Is the dvd player hooked to tv with an HDMI cable or component cables (RBG)? If it's component try looking to see if the R,G & B leads are in the correct places.
My understanding of the green-tipped ammo is that the ammo is NATO grade .223 (5.56). As Rodbuster said, the .308 orange tips are tracers. The .308 black tips are armor piercing-you may never see one of these.
Congrats on the sale of the house!
We won't consider you trailer trash unless we see you hanging out on 19 (or around the post office) holding a sign! And tell Lisa to not look for "work" on 19 either;)
Re: 4 months out of warranty and $4,000 in repairs.... I'm an unhappy camper.
This is true! It's time to at least get down there and find out what the problems are before calling around asking for help/advice. The first thing they'll ask is what the problem is. I removed a leaking slide...
Re: Uncomfotable tow
I had a friend with a similar problem. After trying a host of different options, we found that he had the wrong sized ball on the hitch.
