Haven't had the beef at the Bluegate, but The meatloaf there was great. Of all the places that we ate at in the area, the Bluegate was the best in my opinion...
We have a Comfort furnace which is a infrared heater like the Edenpure. It works great in the RV,but if you are going to be in temps below freezing, they can work to good. The infrared has to be set low enough so the RV heater can come on and put warm air into the heater vents to keep the water...
Just got our Landmark back from having some paint and a few other issues fixed. I dealt with Steve Kennel and could not have asked for a better experience with getting our rig repaired.I have talked to numerous people and they all wonder why Heartland is growing so fast. With the type of product...
Of all the extras or options that we ordered on our rig,we like the washer and dryer the best, followed by the side by side refrigerator. We would not be without our W&D. One of the big things to us is, we know exactly whose and what articles have been in the washer and dryer.
As Jim stated ours was making a lot of noise when it was running and wouldn't switch over to the furnace when it got too cold for it to put out heat. I took it to the dealer and he changed out the circuit board and it started to work properly and quieted down a lot, but just in the last couple...
We had the same thing happen to us. Seems like the fan had a mind of its own. We took it back to the dealer and he installed a new thermostat and we haven't had any problems with it since.
Ours gets hot enough that you can't hold your hand on the top of the counter very long. We turn down the thermostat so that it does not stay on all the time and it seems to work pretty well.We also have an infrared heater that works great.
Last week in our Augusta the temps got down to +4*. The water to the kitchen sink froze off first with the water to the rest of the trailer working fine. then the water to the rest of the rig froze off. The water to the rest of the rig froze off between the tank and pump as the pump would come...

I missed your original post but good luck with the fix. Hope it turns out looking just as good as new. That has got to be an extremely sickening feeling when something like that happens.
Great job Pete....Good to see that you got it ran and hooked up. Maybe now it is time for a cocktail and a meal out on the town for a reward for saving that much money. Way to go.
Pete
Your electrician is right that you can't have 2 independent circuits share the same neutral. The 50-amp service to the trailer is 220 volt. Once inside the trailers breaker box, the opposing circuits are kept seperated, and each will have its own neutral and ground to your plug ins and...

If you are going to install 50-amp service--A lot of people have the misconception that 50-amp service for RV hookups is different than the standard household 120/240 volt service. The hookup is the same to the receptacle, with a 50-amp 120/240 volt DOUBLE POLE breaker to a 14-50R 3 pole 4...
We have had our Augusta for 3 months now. It has set in the back yard with the slides out and has been rained on numerous times and has not been connected to water hookups. When I hooked up and pulled out of the yard for our trip to the Escapee rally, water pourd out of the underbelly. Now that...
Our porch light and scare light are wired together on our Augusta also. I too thought it was funny that the scare light was not wired by itself. Looks to me like the porch light and stair light should be on the same switch. I was going to rewire them but the porch light and scare light switch is...
If I remember right, the cooling fan comes on when the temperature reaches 119 degrees. Smokey is right about not having a vent in the top of the trailer. If you leave the fridge on propane and not hooked up to power it will drain your battery in about a day and a half if you only have one 12...
I asked our dealer if if there was supposed to be a cover of some kiind over the box and he said that was the way all of them came from the factory. He is getting a piece of carpet from the factory and I am going to build a box and cover it with the carpet. It is probably just me but it makes...
BC-----On the sides of the drawers in the slides there is a black piece of plastic. You need to push down on one side and pull up on the other side while pulling the drawer out. The plactic pieces will only push or pull one way. That's the way mine work anyway. Hope this helps.
John, You are right about the instructions saying to install the T handles toward the foot pads. It doesn't look like there would be any problem with the way they are on now but I'm going to turn them around anyway. That is what I get for not reading the last part of the instructions. Thanks for...
J.D. and C.J---Hope these pics help with your install. I did use the stiffener pads on either side of the floor plate. On the street side one, I put a stiffener pad between the floor plate and generator frame. As you can see mine are seperated on the front. If I remember right, the instructions...
Mark, mine look exactly like your's except I have the generator and drilled the holes through the generator frame to get more metal to attach them to. Those 2 plates that are in the first picture are taken out of mine for the air intake and exhaust. From everything I can see, it looks like mine...
Congrats on the camper. When we got ours home last month and started putting things in, it didn't take us long to figure out that you can put an awful lot of stuff in a small place. Our new one is 10 feet longer than the old one but still had a tough time getting everything back in. Of course a...

We have a 2010 Augusta on order and ordered it with the heat pump. It was not listed as an option but the dealer we ordered it from said we could get it that way from the factory.
Congrats on the new Augusta. We have one on order that is scheduled to be delivered by Feb.7th. Hope we meet somewhere down the road. Good luck with the Augusta.
I saw the floor plan for the new Landmark Grand Canyon and it is outstanding with the two huge slideouts on the driver side. The dealer I talked to didn't know for sure when they were going to start building them. Looks to me like it will defiantly be one of the most popular models.
