Used my 2017 cyclone 3600 for the first time

VTA; I have a 4200 - I believe the same set up. The front Black and Grey dump from the bib closest to the front of the rig. The back grey also dumps to the front. The only thing that dumps at the rear bib is the garage black. It does not make sense because the only was to flush out the rear...

    Yokohama Geolander GO56?

I had Yokahama tires on my old truck, 2500 SRW. They were great, had 65,000 miles on the tires when I traded the truck in.

    two black tanks

The 4200 has 2 black & 2 grey. Both black have separate bibs to dump, the rear grey, when you dump it comes out with the front grey. We got used to it and like it.

Storm1972, that is odd, I to have a 2015 4200 - my Yeti switch is stand alone below the cabinet & I have no other switch outside the cabinet. I am sure some one will cherp in and solve you question. Jim

For those towing with a Ford F-350 Lariet 4x4 .....

I have a 2015 F350 DRW with 18" wheels. Like Alan_B I also have a Companion hitch - love it. I put air bags on the rear of my truck, I found it sagged just a little, so I run 40 lbs. of air. Pulls like a dream. According to my dealer the difference in the 20" and 18" tire in height is just under...

    New RV Owner

Bobby; There is always something you wish you new before - OH well, live and learn. Dan is 100% correct, fuel is a big expense. BUT you can save a lot of money if you want??? Get your RV, park it at a campground and don't pull it, don't go site seeing etc. That is not what we do.... every one...

    Whoo Hoo

Keith; I am so happy for you. I rang the bell on Radiation in April of 2016 and Chemo in March of 2016. I too was told it would be a rough recovery, but my cancer would come back. I have had a pretty good year, now it's back and I start Chemo again next week for 3 months. Just live to the...

    FORD check coolant additive message

What I find the easiest, every time I get my oil change, I ask the dealer to check it. That way I never have a reminder come on. I did it for my 2011 350DRW and now my 2015 DRW. Jim

Powerking Tire Failure on Cyclone 4200

Tree14; everything you have heard is true, now I had the Towmax on my last 5th wheel, 35,000 miles and no issues. When I got me 4200, 2015, it came with Towmax tires. I have probably been lucky, and will replace at the beginning of this season. just not sure what to get, any manufacturer's tire...

Total Newbie Questions from trucks to campsite length issues.

MBUDZI; Someone mentioned the size of trailer for State Parke and in Canada it would be the same - you will not fit - plus in Canada the Provincial parks really do not cater to the traveler. Most have 15amp with no water or sewer on site. Tow vehicle - any of the big 3 are good, I chose a Ford...

    Rant about GM

Mattman; I "had" some GM's and moved on. They do make a nice vehicle, but if they spent more attention to the things you are talking about rather than slamming their competition they would be a lot better off. Jim

    Trailer Length

Codive; We have done a lot of traveling in our 4200, with out an issue. A lot of the time we call ahead, to let them know we are a total of 63' so we have no surprise when we get there. Have not had an issue and love the extra space. Our rig has the side patio, we have had a few sites that are...

Your opinion - Camping Worlds' extended warranty

Re: Your opinion Watch the fine print in ANY extended warranty. Before we upgraded to our Cyclone, we had a Motor coach, lots of problems, and when manufacturers warranty ran out, 1 year, we had the 2 motors for the side out go. We were then advised you can only use the extended warranty once...

Not a Heartland, but man what a floor plan.

I think we all bought what we bought for a reason, and there will always be someone who comes out with some neat options over the years. I looked very closely at this manufacturer. They had some really nice ideas, but were a new manufacturer and I was not prepared to take the risk. PLUS I liked...

4200 plus F350 DRW LB total length

I am towing at 62', trailer and truck. I have traveled throughout Canada and mostly the US. I have known there are a few States that I do exceed the overall length. If I had to enter the individual State with a thought of "what if" I would probably just stay at home. I have traveled through...

Dealing with Heartland to reimburse for warranty work

Will; I have had dealings directly with Heartland - and once the work is approved by Heartland if warranty, there was absolutely no issues. Vinyl Flooring Won't Clean Up

Marc; I agree 100%. I am in the cleaning business, use hot water or a mild degreaser to clean then swifter to clean - up and dry. The small pad on the swifter will not clean a very big area. This process will work great - and also keep the "boss" happy Jim

That is so nice to hear, as mostly all as we here about is the negative end. You should send a letter to Heartland, with a copy to your dealer, to extend you satisfaction to both the RV & dealer. Jim

Anyone have any advice on RV-ing the NASCAR Series...?

Sarge: If you call some of the tracks, see what their changes are for next year. Apparently there are quite a few tracks doing away with the infield camping. I know Phoenix has just announced it, not sure is it for '17 or '18. Jim

$200 mo more for indoor storage - Whay say you?

I agree with the rest of these posts Sarge, that's a lot of money. I store outside $ 50.00 per month. Indoor heated is $ 5.00 a foot, so to me $ 220.00. I have only covered 1 of our trailers in 20 years, and would NEVER do it again. Jim

    2016 Ford F 350

    2016 Ford F 350

Santa was so nice to you. I have the same - 2015 Platinum DRW and just turned 30,000 miles on it. Runs like a top and loves pulling the 4200. I did install rear air bags and run about 40lbs in them when pulling the trailer and 20lbs not pulling. Happy Trails Jim

bubbling on sides of 2015 Cyclone

I would be heading to me dealer & let a professional look at it. My 2015 4200 - we have had the patio and rear door both replaced due to delamination, BUT the fiberglass did not bubble. Have not had any issues since. Don't prolong this, as it could cause more problems. Jim

    Winterizing

I drain the holding tank & do not put antifreeze in it. Too hard to sanitize in the spring. Just pump the antifreeze through all your water outlets, don't forget outlet for outside shower & if you have washer. It is also a depressing time to winterize as we now know the season is over. Jim

Anyone have any advice on RV-ing the NASCAR Series...?

Not sure where you got the 2K, unless you are taking 20 people. I do quite a few races a year, some I go to every year and they all have their own pros and cons. Some I would not go back too & some are a don't miss - my opinion ONLY. Of the 3 tracks you want to go to, I have only been to...

    Insurance. Are you properly protected?

Ours is quite simple in Ontario...
